This MIUI 12 development version supports two upgrade methods:

1.Users of the latest development version of MIUI 11 can smoothly upgrade to MIUI 12 through OTA.

2.Users with permission of the stable version of MIUI need to switch to the development version on the mobile phone system update entry page, and then upgrade to MIUI 12 development by OTA Version. (However, this operation will clear all data, pay attention to make a backup in advance)

At present, there are 22 models of the first batch of public beta models that started to upgrade the MIUI 12 development version. If your Xiaomi phone is one of the following models, you can try it first:

The remaining 10 models will be pushed and upgraded in the near future: Redmi K20 Pro, Redmi K20 Pro Premier Edition, Xiaomi 9Pro 5G, Xiaomi CC9 Pro, Redmi K20, Redmi K30 5G, Redmi K30, Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi Note 7 Pro , Redmi Note 7.

How to Update to MIUI 12 from MIUI 11?

You will receive the latest MIUI software update notifications once it is available to your phone's device. If you not receive the update notifications at that time, you may need to check the MIUI 12 software update by yourself. To do this, just check the system update via the following steps:

Step 1: open your Xiaomi phone "Settings-About phone-System Update" and click "Check for updates".
