Digital Balance provides a detailed Screen Time Management report on your daily phone use, duration of time spent on viewing notifications, and how long you use each application. Here we’ll tell you how to use it to monitor, manage and balance your mobile phone usage habits.

What is Digital Balance?

With EMUI 9, Huawei introduced a new feature – Digital Balance, which provides a detailed Screen Time Management report on your daily phone use, duration of time spent on viewing notifications, and how long you use each application, and it can guide you towards healthier phone usage habits.

How to use:

Open Digital Balance: Go to Settings > Digital balance > More to check out your usage stats for the day and the last week.

Check today's screen time: Tap Today, and you can check your Screen time, App usage, Unlocks.

Check last seven days’ screen time: Tap Last seven days, and then check your Screen time, App usage, Unlocks.

Manage your time: Back to the Digital Balance home screen and enable Screen time management to plan how to use your time.

Bedtime mode: In Screen time management, go to Bedtime to manage display settings for sleeping hours.

Moreover, you can also set a Screen Time Limit based on who's using the phone to limit the time your kids use their cell phones or help you get out of addictive games.

However, someone may not like his application usage being analyzed, tracked and displayed and wants to disable Digital Balance in his Huawei devices. Well, just follow the steps below to disable it:
1. Go to Settings.
2. Tap APPS.
3. Again tap APPS.
4. Click on 3 DOTS in right corner and then tap Special Access.
5. Tap Usage Information Access.
6. Click on 3 DOTS in right corner and then tap Show System Processes.
7. Tap Digital Balance.
8. Turn toggle ON/OFF, Digital Balance.
