  • Kind of a good deal

Pros: This is the cheapest guitar for the Wii I've ever seen. Works with all the music games except for ROCK BAND 1. Which is not really a big deal since you have SO MANY OTHER options of music games to play.

Cons: I've had to pay taxes (about 20 dollars more) to get it from the post office, even though it's below the 50 dollar limit (here in Brazil). The guitar worked just fine for the first 2-3 hours, until the strum bar stopped working. I had to spend some more to get it fixed in a game store. The plastic seems a bit cheap.

Other: Buy it or not, it's your choice. If you get it fixed, it's really worthy. I've spent around 65 dollars total, but here in Brazil you can't really buy a Wii guitar for less than 100 bucks. So it's a good deal.

Pros: It works. but the bar crash in 3 hours. i´ll open it to try repair it, probably are only a contact in bad position.

Cons: Bad quality in the buttons and contacts, i hope that opening it and put some super contact in the right site the guitar will works well. The bar does not work in 3 hours...

Other: Probably better buy the original item... Is expensive, but the quality will be better, and in case of something wrong you can change it on the store without whait more than one month!!!!!

  • Worse than the other one

    Pros: Cheap. Soft fret buttons.

Cons: Poor build quality. As the other user, the strum bar stoppped working within 3 hours of gameplay. As his, now only strummong upwards it works. And who knows until when it'll continue working? And the arm is a bit loose, so you need to re-attach it everyhour.

Other: Dont nuy this one. Prefer instead the USD42 guitar! http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12357

  • cheap and not very good quality

Pros: It is very cheap compared to another guitar. But with cheap you get low quality hardware.

Cons: My strum bar got unresponsive on the down movement after playing 3 hours in medium. First I thought I was missing the notes but then I noticed that the strumbar also did not work very good anymore in de menu's. Now I need to strum upwards but I guess this will break soon also. Also my joystick (to move the cursor around in wii menu) is of bad quality. Left and right movement is not very good. At last, the fret will not fit properly in the guitar. I have to push it very hard to lock it in place (to get the last milimeter so that the lock will lock it down).

Other: I wouldn't buy another guitar again. Maybe I just have a bad one (reading other posts people don't see this problems) but $35 is a big gamble to buy another one.

  • Great!

Pros: It's cheap! Here in Brazil (Manaus/AM) costs more than 70 USD! And I don't have problems with the fees.. The guitar is detachable, the package isn't big. The guitar works very well. the frets are ok, the strum too. É barata! No Brasil, no caso, onde moro, Manaus, sai por no mínimo 130 reais! Fora que não tive problemas com a alfândega (demorou 29 dias para chegar). Pode-se desmontar o braço da guitarra, muito mais prático. A caixa fica menor assim. A guitarra funciona bem, botões e a strum nada a reclamar.

Cons: For the price, nothing. The frets sometimes not responding very well, but, not a big deal.. Pelo preço, nada que mereça uma reclamação. às vezes os botões não funcionam como esperado, mas não chega a irritar, fora que dá pra arrumar.

Other: Want's a guitar control good and cheap: You found it. Buy! Quer uma guitarra boa e barata: Achou. Compre!

  • A great guitar for low price!

Pros: Great product for a great price! WOrks perfectly on beatles rock band Portuguese: Otimo produto e por um preço muito baixo. Funcionou perfeitamente no novo rock band dos beatles.

Cons: Not at all! I dont use the guitar for much time but it seems ok Portuguese: Nenhum ate agora! Não a testei muito mas está ok.

Other: The price is very very low. Here in Brazil a similar product costs at least 3 times this price. Portuguese: O preço é muito baixo. Aqui no Brasil uma guitarra similar custa pelo menos 3 vezes esse valor. Mesmo pagando muita na receita federal saiu 50 reais mais barata que a mais barata que axei no ML.

  • Impressive

Pros: Works perfectly directly out of the box. Looks and feels great. The fret buttons are flat and almost noiseless. The strum bar is responsive and so far after two weeks of intensive gameplay on HARD is flawless. Perfect product for it's price.

Cons: My middle fret button (the Yellow one) was too soft on press and was getting jammed under the plastic shell. I had to open the whole strum bar in order to insert couple of rubber fillers 3mm thick (a piece of thick cardboard can be used as well). This fixed the buttons and made them a little easier to press. The plastic is kind of soft and on higher difficulty you do feel how the guitar is twisting around in your hands. Or maybe I am little to old/strong for this controller.

Other: This controller is great. The shape is awesome and looks exactly as it is shown here. The fix I had to do was very basic and I am very satisfied from my guitar.
