Pros: great and cheap product, i use it for my nikkon camera when i use my tamron 70-300 lens. it protects the lens. and that is all i want. -works -srews nice on it -protects my lens -quality seems good

Cons: couldnt realy found any, you also get a nice box with it.. only thing is the shipment, but hey! its free shipment, cant be angry at that. -none! (-shipment time)

Other: if u looking for a uv filter, or just want to protect your lens. this is what you need. (if your lens in 62 mm..:P)

Pros: Screws nicely into my 18-200 tamron lens. No details on the glass.

Cons: None. Maybe could be a little cheaper. Also, it came in a very large filter holder. Probably for something bigger than 82mm, so I'll be carrying extra volume in my bag because of this.

Other: I bought it to protect my lenses and that's what it does best.

Pros: Does a great job protecting my AF Micro Nikkor 60mm 1:2.8D lens! I like the plastic box it comes in sturdy and nice! (shown in the next to last image) Build quality is nice. Screwed onto my lens nicely and additional filteres screwed on nicely on it.

Cons: None really. Does what it's supposed to. It could be cheaper, but the price is ok.

Other: Great if you need something to take the hits your lens would otherwise take!

  • review for Massa UV filter for SLR/DSLR Cameras

posted by esepepe on 01:17:59 G7T 03/07/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - It protects my Tamron 18-250mm lens (that's the reason I bought it)
    - The filter is delivered in a nice thick and hard plastic circular housing, so it will not get damaged during transport (the outer cardboard box was damaged).
    - the filter is also available in various other filter sizes

Cons: I hope it does not influence image quality too much in a negative way

Other: Good value for money. Buy it if you have expensive lenses that need protection
