  • Works right out of the box

Pros: With the USB Port adapter for my Galaxy Tab2 7.0, the keyboard worked immediately. I used it to create a document on my tablet and send it by e-mail. The flexibility of the keyboard allows me to roll it up and fit it in the much smaller bag I use to carry my various electronic gadgets.

Cons: It needs a solid surface (desk or over-sized hardcover book) to work efficiently when typing. The keys feel a bit spongy, making me unsure if I'm hitting the right keys, but it hasn't missed them yet, so it's just a matter of getting used to it. The Right Shift key is to the right of the Up arrow, which puts it just a bit too far over to hit it properly until I get used to the location. This causes the cursor to move up a line when I just wanted to capitalize a word.

Other: Well worth the price. As with any new keyboard that isn't standard, it just takes a little practice to get the feel of it. I would definitely recommend this product to someone. In fact, I already have while typing this review.

  • An easily transportable keyboard

posted by Clexx on 04:11:01 G1T 13/01/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Very easily transportable. Once rolled, the size is equivalent to a beer bottle.
    - Very light (300gr / 10oz).
    - Caps lock LED.
    - Liquid proof.
    - It works perfectly with GNU/Linux and BSD.

Cons: - Very strange sensation while typing.
    - You have to put your finger in the very middle of the buttons.
    - The keyboard smelt very bad for about a week.
    - Sometimes buttons are stuck.

Other: I keep this keyboard with me only in emergency case. I think it can hardly be used every day even if you're used to it.

  • Yes! Great Keyboard, Love it

    posted by sece1212 on 02:34:57 G7T 07/07/2009 certificated customer

Pros: This thing is so USEFUL!. It is very portable, and can be used almost everywhere. The color matches almost every device I use with it. I use it mostly for my Ps3 to talk to people.

Cons: When you type, it feels like your not hitting the right keys, and that makes you feel like your hitting the wrong buttons, but your not. Sometimes you might hit the wrong key, because they aren't in the right spots. You need a flat surface to get the best out of this

Other: Overall, if you need a portable keyboard, then this is the thing for you. I highly recommend this.

  • Great price & idea, but poorly executed

posted by echolake on 10:57:46 G12T 26/12/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: -It's cheap
    -It's fun
-It rolls up, it's easy to carry
    -Liquid-proof
    -Accidental food spillage proof
-USB, even my Macbook recognizes it (granted you have to do the quick and simple keyboard setup that'll pop up once you plug it in). MAC NOTES: The option and apple keys will not have a corresponding button on this

Cons: It's awkward, like the reviwer said before me, this is not for fast typists. I personally use it for my 360 to send messages but even then, the response and errors have me regretting this purchase

Other: It's cheap and it's fun but the novelty wears off fast
    I wouldn't get it

  • Nice at the price, not for coders or fast typists.

Pros: Very handy to have around as a spare keyboard and also is ideal for situations where dust and dampness is an issue. This works fine despite getting wet, and even if it does get damaged, it's not a big issue replacing it given the price is so low.

Cons: The keyboard has a really weird texture to it, especially when you pick it up. The back of it just feels odd in the hand. A bit flimsy perhaps. Also, in the area where the electronic components are enclosed, it feels a bit vulnerable. I am cautious holding it as it feels like I could be squishing something.
Also there is no SysRq which is a bit inconvenient for a linux user like myself.
Also as mentioned before, the buttons can be a bit unresponsive. You can't type quickly on it.

Other: Good keyboard at a grand price.

  • Fun a s gimmick

posted by nilbog on 22:47:11 G10T 01/10/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - cheap
    - plug and go
    - nice soft feel
    - easy to read letters

Cons: - unless keys pressed dead on they tend to tilt to the side which works but gives a strange "feel" to typing
    - only works on a flat hard service

Other: As a gimmick or but of fun it works well enough and I'm happy with it. It could also be a fair backup in an emergency. Not suitable for everyday use.

Pros: i'll sum it up quick.
    - Flexible
    - Works as attended
    - Responsive
    - Can hold 3 keys at the same time without stopping (gaming purposes) maximum 5 in my experience.
    - Same as the one as you buy from retail stores but cost 1/2 price.

Cons: - Tad bit pricy, could be at around 5-7$ range but that's just me.
    - Could be a tad stiffer on the bottom of the keyboard but I know, it's meant to be flexible.

Other: overall it does as it's attended to do. I personally use this as a roll up console keyboard for my VM machine.

  • Brilliant.

Pros: I need to bring a usb keyboard everywhere with me for work, this is perfect for the occasional times when I need to use it. Takes up hardly any space (compared to the one I used to have to carry). Plus this fits in the toolbox! Rolls up and takes up very little room, I can squash it into any available space and not worry about it breaking (cheap to replace even if it does break!)

Cons: You would not want to use this to do a lot of typing, especially if like me you have to look at the keyboard while typing, I find the characters often need to be pressed twice.

Other: Very useful for my needs, I will be buying more of these to give to my work colleagues.

    - Small
    - really flexibell
    - Hnady for 2nd keyboard
    - water proof
    - washable

Cons: - build qualityis not so good, you always will get some folds in the keyboard so its never straight
    - its not recommended for a primairy keyboard, but for this price i cant complain

Other: Buy one, its a nice gadget and its not that expensive so its a cool porudct to have :)
