  • Really good product

Pros: This remote control works really good in a distance between 2 and 4 meters. I bought this for my Canon T2i (550) and worked really well.

Cons: I guess it is doesn't work if you don't align the remote control with the camera. In my canon T2i the only buttons that worked was two (S and 2S).

Other: I love the button 2S because the camera waits 2 seconds before taking the picture. That's really useful.

  • great remote for the price

Pros: It was fairly cheap, came with a battery already, and it is very lightweight and thin, so it won't add any bulk to your equipment.

Cons: May break easily. There are cheaper ones here in DX. But for the price, it's definitely worth buying.

    Other: I recommend this purchase.

  • it works pretty well

posted by EltonB on 16:51:40 G3T 26/03/2013 certificated customer

Pros: Good build, good price, good work. It does what it supposed to do. I use it with my 550d/t2i canon. It works for both photo (shutter release) and video. It comes in handy when you want to shoot video and you are in front of the camera, or when your camera is away from you.

Cons: Just one thing, I thought that it can work from behind the camera, so i could use it with my jib, but it does not.

Other: It is worth it, is cheap and very well build

  • Cheap and practical

    posted by challen12 on 06:34:53 G3T 21/03/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's easy to use Works perfectly with my Canon EOS 400D battery included Look simple and good finish It is compatible with many devices, if it works correctly with all I think it's the best purchases you can make a photographer

Cons: You only can shoot the canon EOS 400D you cannot change the speed and the diafragme The instruction manual is not very detailed, but anyone who understands a bit of photography can use it without any problem because it is quite intuitive and easy to use

Other: It's a good bought, cheap and easy to use, perfect for my canon EOS 400D. I'm very happy for this bought

  • Exellent. Tested with Pentax K-R.

posted by rattail on 03:51:24 G3T 21/03/2013 certificated customer

Pros: Small, flat. Works with all brands. Good price.

    Cons: None.

Other: Small, all camera brands in one dewice. CR 2025 lithium battery inside. Tested with Pentax K-r. Works two buttons on "P" frame. Another for different brands but it pros for fe. For this money it's wery usefull. I would suggest make it with bright colors. And better to make hole or strap for fixing on belt or keyring.

  • it works but...

posted by neluferencz on 15:12:23 G3T 06/03/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: 1) cheap 2) discrete quality 3) it works 4) good range more than 15m

Cons: On nikon d60 only remote shutter works no other option works on this model of dslr camera. Quality is good but could improve. Battery is hard to change. Buttons wont work for long(quality is not very good. when you let the remote in the sun the glue from the buttons wil melt

Other: very cheap but for d60 nikon buy a single button remote

  • Works with a Canon 550D (Rebel T2i)

posted by brunoc on 16:07:21 G1T 13/01/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: I have a Canon 550D and this is a great, cheap device to shoot pictures away from my camera. It can take an immediate picture with the S button of with a 2 seconds time with the 2S button. If auto-focus is turned on, the camera will also focus before the shot.

    Cons: None.

Other: Get it. Much cheaper then the Canon official remote for about a sixth of the price, but does the same job.

  • Best product for your DSLR

posted by tonymd on 12:31:35 G12T 28/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The quality is at its best. The range of the IR beam is about 10 meters which is a lot. It is a lot cheaper then it is in the store and there are many extra functions.

Cons: It's not compatable with many new Canon DSLR's but if you are lucky and works with yours .then you have no problem.

Other: I really recommend this product ,it is something that will come in handy when I shoot animals which fear me

  • Nikon Coolpix 8800

    posted by zvjerka24 on 05:00:33 G12T 28/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Very cheap and very useful product. For little money I got great working remote controller for my Nikon Coolpix 8800 and I recommend using this remote of course if you need it. Plastic parts are very good quality. Battery is also included.

Cons: Not all keys are working on my Nikon Coolpix 8800. Only shooting key is working, but who needs zoom and other keys... main key is working ;)

    Other: my recommendations

  • Does not work for my Minolta S800

posted by Stringdingetje on 06:23:24 G9T 18/09/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: For a very affordable price this easy to use remote control for digital SLR camera's can be bought. It's small so easy to take with me

Cons: It does not work at all on my Konica Minolta S800! It looks a bit cheapy with all the plastic and the thin buttons but that's not so important.

Other: I bought this one in the hope that it would work on my SLR, but given the price it's not a total disaster that it doesn't want to work together...
