Pros: Best price for 2500mah Li-Ions. Packaging adequate. Nerfers, you need these!!

Cons: Not quite 2500mah, mine charged up to about 2000, close enough I guess.

Other: Use these in my bigger Nerf blasters! Vulcan and Stampede love these batteries!! Higher capacity is great. They don't get as hot as when I was using the smaller sized ones.

  • As expected

Pros: Item arrived in Quebec, Canada with no damage. Was well packed. It tooks 4 weeks from the time of shipment. Batteries were just like expected, I've ordered these to replace cells in my laptop batterie. They are exactly the same size and make the replacement easy. Of course that should only be made by a qualified person. You should know to solder and not put too much heat.

Cons: Batteries are rated 2500mAh but the real thing is around 2100mAh.

Other: I would recommend it to everyone looking for batteries like that at good price. Just be aware that the capicity is not really 2500mAh but somewhat like 2100mAh.

  • Great near-standard-lenght cells

    posted by Vasfed0 on 05:28:28 G1T 28/01/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The cells are exactly 65mm in length, which is standard for 18650 (650 stands for 65.0mm) and can fit where some others cannot.
    Good build quality
Cells came in plastic storage case
    Capable of high-current
Of course not 2.5Ah, but somewhere close

    Cons: They are unprotected, thus:
    dangerous if incorrectly charged/overcharged
can stop function if deeply discharged

Other: Best choice if you need standard-length cells.

  • Great 18650 cells for the price

posted by Eudaimonium on 15:49:47 G10T 27/10/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The batteries are different from other $8 level batts, in a way that the positive point is not sticking out of the battery, it's rather recessed in, and cell's finish itself gives a high-quality feel. The batteries came in a nice plastic box in which you can store two 18650, or four 16340 / 18350 cells.

Cons: Ofcourse, capacity not exactly as advertised, but can we really consider that a con at this point?

Other: No special bottom line here. I'm buying more of these.

  • Great battery but limited in appliances

posted by hhouter on 13:08:39 G6T 21/06/2011 certificated customer

Pros: Good battery, solid buid and nice colors.

Cons: I tried to put two serial connected Trustfires in my flashlight and the simply so not connect. So I recommend them for a flashlight that has need for one 18650, instead of two. These miss the nipple on the top and connecting them in serial simply doesn't work.

Other: Good battery, powerfull but limited into single 18650 flashlights or appliances.

Pros: 2000 mAh + according to my iMax B6. The strongest I bought so far.... Can power my laptop for 2 hours or more witch is pretty good I guess. Worh their price! THIS would be the one if you want to buy a laptop battery cell replacement.

Cons: Hmmmmm....the biggest con is the PRICE.... I guess could be cheaper a little bit [ about 1-2 $ ] I found about 8% difference between the 6 cells capacity. Other than that maybe some tabs would make a good difference if would be available by request ...

Other: THIS would be the one if you want to buy some laptop battery cell replacements... I found in the gray one "juice"between 1.7-1.9Ah. I would say that these are the "good ones" and the gray ones are the "cheaper and proportionally weaker" versions... f you need it you 18650 unprotected cells you might consider buying this against the gray one... Over all I'm quite satisfied with this one and I would buy them again!

  • Great for an XML direct drive

posted by Darrenm on 17:51:47 G4T 05/04/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - UNPROTECTED!!!!
    - I get up to 3.2 to 3.4 amps on an XML C8 flashlight (which I am pretty sure is direct drive on high mode) vs 2.6 to 2.8 amps for trustfire flames.
    - See the video I have posted.
    - Some of my trustfire flames were also cutting out on high mode in my flashlight, because the protection circuit was kicking in.
    - Exactly what I wanted and performed exactly as I had hoped - noticably brighter on high for that WOW effect (lets face it - stupidly bright flashlights are fun - and these puppies help push the envelope that bit further.)
    - They feel nice and heavy, and give a really good impression of being good quality.

Cons: - be aware, no nobbly bit on the positive end, so to best to use in a flashlight which has springs at both ends
    - I would tend to use these in a single battery flash that you want to push to the MAXIMUM. Multi-battery setups would require a little magnet at the positive end of one cell (or other customisation). I notice when i tested the current draw with a magnet on the end compared to no magnet, it was about 10-20% lower - maybe the magnets (I purchased 8mm ones on deal extreme) are not the best conductors.
    - the maximum current from the two batteries on high mode in my test flashlight delivery 3.2amps for one and 3.4 for the other, so some minor variability between batteries - not too significant though.

Other: You can spend a fair bit on chasing those extra few lumens, or you could spend a few bucks on getting some these puppies (or other good quality unprotected cells) and it is like getting something a bin or two higher.
    For me, worth every cent.

  • Heavy duty batteries

posted by JuhaniM on 05:34:06 G12T 24/12/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Capacity of those batteries is really good. ~2100mAh@1A continious. When 0.2C discharge is done, sometimes the real capacity exeeds original capacity. Internal ressistance is really good. Even better than those 2400mAh gray ones with high current draw. In my oppinon these withstand high currents better. One pro is the price for sure. These are six time more expensive in Estonia.

Cons: No cons. I have done around 100 charges and no changes in capacity

Other: Will buy those again for other projects.

  • 100% reliable.

Pros: These are 100% reliable. Ive have probably bought over 700 of these and i have never had one faulty battery. The only way you can kill these is by running them empty below the recommended lowest voltage. These get used in P7's and single Cree lights and perform really well.

Cons: Batterys are great, but price is more than the protected ones! Should be maybe $1-$2 cheaper.

Other: Great batterys, you cant go wrong with these, unless you're one of the above i was talking about!

  • True Rated Capacity, Definatly no protection

posted by RBLAND on 02:04:30 G8T 04/08/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Just got mine today.
-Did a discharge test at ~1.66A for 1.5 hours. (Basically 2.5Ah capacity on on the dot, which is QUITE GOOD for 1.66A current drain) Battery did get warm!
In regards to the other reviews - these are NOT protected
-Not much voltage drop at all under load.
After 15 mins, the voltage is at 3.75V at 1.66A load, which goes to show that these batteries are good for medium loads.

Cons: -It looks like they are NOT protected under full discharge test - was expecting this
    - No positive *bump*. A blob of solder on the top (under 5 seconds of soldering) should be fine

Other: -Excellent Genuine Capacity 2.5Ah (2500mAh)
-No Positive *bump* easy to fix
-No protection so be careful on charge / discharge & short circuiting.
    -Trust this TrustFire!
