Pros: -Compact size -Robust construction -Works fine with a 14500 cell -Water tight

Cons: -Came with 1 rubber washer as opposed to 2 under the cap -Came with nicks on the light -Not quite 230 lumens* -Not the best value *with a 14500 cell

Other: If you only want bright light output the 1 mode Sipik SK68 that DX sells is MUCH brighter. However, because it is so bright it lasts only about 10 minutes if left on continuously. If battery life is important, then I would recommend the F20. However, I must add that the Sipik SK68 is significantly cheaper than the F20.

Pros: It is very small and very bright for its size! The clickie switch and ALL the O-rings glow in the dark. It is plenty small to fit in your pants pocket or purse or door compartment in your car. It will light up my neighbors house 300 ft away! The clip is very nice, the clip faces towards the light end for putting in your pocket. The price is right for such high quality. This is just as bright or brighter than other branded $50 or more lights. The 5 mode switch is very easy to switch through with a simple half press. And it has memory mode so if you typically use it in low mode it will come on in low mode. It can take any AA which is easy to find but is noticeably brighter with 14500's.

Cons: The lens on mine is loose and rattles. I tried to tighten it by turning the board inside the pill. I feels like it is glued in place. Not as bright as I was expecting. Since the switch is recessed a bit, you need to use a fingernail or something fairly pointy to depress the rather firm clicky. Clicky is reverse.

Other: Highly recommended. Great buy for the price.

Pros: Cheap, bright, simple, fool proof. It has the mode memory, so it will always turn on in the mode it was turned off which is very nice.

Cons: no rubber seals, cheapish material

Other: if you need a simple flashlight which can be dimmed this is what you were looking for.

  • Great EDC Flashlight

Pros: Nice size for pocket carry. Three brightness levels, plus strobe and SOS modes. Memory to retain last mode. One must consider the price, but it is well built and the aluminum has held up to daily use. Glow in the dark O-rings and tailcap clicky switch. Brightness on high is very adequate. Battery life on high approximately 20 minutes. I use only Alkaline AA batteries, never used a LiIon 14500 battery.

Cons: Pocket clip could hold a bit more strongly. Others have noted that the light doesn't work for very long with a 3.7V 14500 battery, so I've stuck with Alkaline primary AA cells. 230 Lumens? Not even close, but certainly as bright as you'll need for a pocket carry task light.

Other: The TrustFire F20 has the name "EDC" right on it, and it is great as an Everyday Carry flashlight. Looking for your first EDC flashlight? Look no further.

  • Good for EDC

Pros: Good value for its price Light and small size, very easy to carry with the clip, nothing sticks out of my jeans pocket Adequate brightness for its intended use ( household, car, outdoor car park, parks, dark staircases etc) Good build quality Good battery life with AA batteries (alkaline & Ni-Mh) Glass lens O rings - should be water resistant although I did not test it Memory mode. Has a low light mode to conserve battery Does get too warm during longer usages.

Cons: I only used AA batteries, there are other reviews of failure with 14500 batteries, my friend popped in his 14500 battery into this flashlight, it was much brighter compared to AA batteries. Left it for a few minutes. the light stopped working after I put in the AA battery again :( ... but after a few days it started working again :) Not sure what happened. After almost a year of carry and usage, occasionally I will need to click a few times to get it to turn on. Most times it turns on immediately.

Other: For what its price paid for I give it a thumbs up as a good general carry with you all the time light - easy to maintain, above average build quality, good features and easy to carry.

Pros: That's a fantastic flashlight which works just on single battery. Very good quality made in aluminium material with very good details. Excellent size, very light and powerful. Very bright ilumination for a little flashlight!. Small, good price, great product!

Cons: Some minor scratchs in lens - Lack of lanyard (cord) though it has holes to put one - May be the body clip es too strong (Its actually better without the clip.)

Other: Very happy with this purchase.

  • Enough lightpower for everyday use

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: -Cheap, delivered quickly -Small, and lightweight -very strong build. -uses only one of the most common type of battery and it lasts long! -has a glow-in-the-dark o-ring seals and tailcap powerbutton. -powerbutton is durable and easy to operate. -has a belt clip (not removable, except by force) -5 modes(max-med-min-strobe-SOS) -very nice light pattern

Cons: No major cons.. let me think, hmm... okay: -does not have adjustable zoom for light. -belt clip not easily removable -sometimes poor battery contact and the light goes weak or changes mode on it´s own but just give a good punch for light and it works normally again.

Other: I would buy another one if this got stolen or missing..

  • Nice product at a nice price

posted by BloodyEagle on 06:20:20 G2T 11/02/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Small size.
It feeds on a single battery.
Can be powered by AA (AAA with adapter) and 14500 battery.
Very bright (230 lumens is not. Compared with the Fenix LD10 [100 ANSI lumens] - the same brightness).
Neutral white light without the blue tint.
Fluorescent rubber - the button and pad glow in the dark.
    Waterproof.
    5 modes.
    Mode memory.
    Glass lens.
    Clip.

Cons: Glass is situated very close to the end of the flashlight - likely to break the glass.
Not a very durable coating. By the beginning of a clip to fade in a week.
    Do not removable clip.

Other: A good choice for everyday use. For its price is very good product.
    Must have!

  • A small - great lantern

    posted by aragon711 on 17:39:49 G2T 25/02/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Small size. Great luminosity. Facility for his transport by means of a later detachable clip. Simple use of his five manners of function.

Cons: I do not believe that it produces 230 lumens in his way of maxim promote, though his light is blinding. When batteries used 14500 one of the lanterns remained completely useless, and other one already does not work with batteries AA.

Other: In spite of exposed in the definition of the article, it would never recommend to use batteries 14500. For some reason the lanterns stop working correctly after his use. In addition, the batteries AA are mas cheap and the difference of luminosity is not worth traversing the risk of destroying his lantern

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The size. It's a really small flashlight so it's perfect if you want to keep it in your pocket. It's pretty bright. Works fine with a 1.2V AA battery. Good design. El tamaño. Es muy pequeña, perfecta para llevarla en el bolsillo. La luz que emite es bastante brillante. Funciona correctamente con una pila AA de 1.2V. Diseño atractivo.

Cons: mm... may be the runtime. No problem if you have some well-charged batteries. You can hear a buzzing when it's running. Wait for some minutes after the last use if you don't want to change to the next mode. mm... tal vez la duracion de la pila en funcionamiento. No tiene porque ser un problema si se tienen otras pilas cargadas. Cuando esta en funcionamiento se oye un zumbido. Tras apagarla espera unos minutos para volver a encenderla o pasara al siguiente modo.

Other: I think it's a good buy. Creo que es una buena compra.
