What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: This one has an unbeatable price/performance ratio. Light, compatible, fast... Just fit for those $29.99 T-rex clones. The servo is slightly larger than similar competitors so that you won't be able to fit it anywhere you'd like to.

Cons: This servo has a huge overrun. Not a big deal now, but I might as well change it for something better later. It also tends to stall when near the intended position when little pressure is applied.

Other: Best used in foamy 3CH planes for starters - it won't break as fast as those all-plastics included with these. Also give it a shot in cheapy collective helis.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Very precise, solidly built, quite light, high torque, fast, long lead.

Cons: There is a tiny bit of slop in the gears: with the longest horn on this equates to 0.5mm movement.
The lead is a little heavy duty for such a small.servo, and adds about 2g to the total.
As mentioned, the plug has an odd, slightly thicker area cast on it near the wires than may need filing off to fit micro receivers

Other: A great servo for slope soarers, or anything where a microservo of about 9g might be used, but you need something more robust.
It weighs about 13.5g with the 250mm lead, but I estimate it weighs 11.5g with no lead

  • Great servos for a great price.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Incredibly tiny. Metal ball bearing. Lightweight Came with all necessary parts. Name-brand.

Cons: The servo plugs have a weird piece of plastic which prevents them from sitting correctly in a reciever - it has a small piece of flat plastic that juts out into the space for the other servos but it can be sanded down.

Other: It's a metal gear servo for less that $10. Where else in the world are you going to find something this good?
