Pros: Lens filter is made very well, so when I take photos, I don't notice anything at all in front of the lens. Snaps onto the front of the lens very easily and doesn't require too much force to push it in.

Cons: Makes a bit of a scratching noise if you rotate it around the lens, but it's not something I do regularly anyways, so doesn't affect the quality and purpose of the product.

Other: For 1/5 of retail prices for other brands you buy in store in North America, this lens filter works spectacularly. I bought it mainly to protect the front of my lens, and so far, there hasn't been any issues with photography or its durability (though I have yet to throw it on the ground to see what happens)

Pros: Packed in a good, strong plastic case. Quality looks good. Threads are good, lens is clear. Does not make any refract or vignetting. Lenses coating feels pretty hard and strong.

    Cons: No cons.

Other: Cheap shield for your lens. I'll buy another for spare.

  • The filter to Buy

posted by Heerlen on 07:16:46 G10T 23/10/2013 certificated customer

Pros: I needed a lens filter to protect the canon EF 80-200 tele lens As the lens is allready not that expensive I wanted a cheap lensfilter. The reason is not for UV protection because modern lenses have this built in, but to protect my kit lens against scratches and dust. I bought this one and am verry pleased with it. No noticable differences with products from the foto shop. This at a quarter of the normal price.

Cons: None that I can Think of

Other: Everybody with a 52mm lens should have one of theses

Pros: Is perfect for the price. The product arrived very well in the packet. Time stimated: 2 months (to chile). If you need just protect your lense, i really recommend it. I bought for my Nikon D3100 and I didnt have any problem when i put in.

Cons: I dont have any cons. For this price, is perfect.

    Other: ;)

Pros: This lens filter fits perfectly in my canon 1.8 50mm lens! It was easy to install and the attachment is perfect! I have no doubts in recommending this product to a friend! I would say that most lens filters are over-rated. The price of this lens filter is great, and does not reflect the usefulness of the product.

Cons: Up to now I haven't found any negative aspects on this lens filter.

Other: In my opinion if you need a lens filter to protect your lens just buy this one! This lens filter does exactly the same as other expensive lens filters!

Pros: Good compatibility with canon 50mm f1.8 lens. I am able to screen in without much hassle and the lens cap clips on nicely. Price of the lens is a steal. feels like the same built quality as my other hoya and bw uv filter. not too sure about the potential to decrease image quality or increasing lens flare or decontract... it doesnt seems to have the multi coat thing very clear.

    Cons: non

Other: low price filter to protect a cheap lens

Pros: The apparent advantage of this lens is its price. Since the primary function of this lens is to protect the photo lenses from accidental mechanical damage - it can cope with it better than the expensive lenses.

Cons: Special cons did not notice, but I would like something he would have cost a bit cheaper

Other: Recommend everyone from amateurs to proffessionalov to protect lenses from damage

Pros: This is this first thing I buy for any lens as it is a cheap investment against scratches. It fitted well to my lens with no obvious problems, not to tight and not too loose. Seems pretty basic but does what it is supposed to.

Cons: None that I can think of or have come across so far and don't think I will ever have any problems.

Other: You should never be without one of these on your lens, at this price might as well have a few spare in case you run into trouble during a photo session.

Pros: The good filter at the good price, 100% is suitable for Nikon D5100. Quality quite quite good (there is no feeling of low cost)

Cons: While at least I didn't find any shortcomings I see only advantages

Other: Buy, only be convinced that it is your size.
