Pros: Works, as simple as that. Tested it with PATA hard drives connected to modern motherboards SATA ports and with PATA optical drives connecteed to SATA interfaces. Has two onboard leds to indicate power on and activity.

Cons: Build quality is not so good. but if you handle it carefully it should not break.

Other: I have bought three and used them in different scenarios and they all worked fine. Performance didn´t seem to be impaired.

Pros: + Cheap (as always) + Small, so it doesn't need a case.

Cons: - Bad build quality. - Bad soldering. - IDE connector is too small, it can be connected incorrectly and ruin your MB. - Because of that you can break IDE connector on MB or HDD. - This thing could break, when I tried to connect SATA cable. - BIOS doesn't recognize my 750GB HDD through this board. - Absolutely no cables included. - It takes full IDE channel and because I have only two of them and I can't boot OS using this, it is a con.

Other: Bad deal. Really bad deal.
