Pros: Durability, inexpensive, high quality at a dirt cheap price

Cons: The balls on the end fall off easily. If you want them to stay, use silicone or glue.

Other: A whole lot cheaper to replace than helicopter parts or landing gear. Works well with a minor glue addition, and can be modified.

Other: Good for beginners, helps learn how to land. For that price you won't find something better.

Pros: For the price a good choice. Rods survived several downfalls. Balls bright - well seen on the street, when the control helicopter

Cons: Four plastic mount made ??of very brittle plastic. But I did not use. Bad balls are attached, you need to secure stronger

Other: For the novice helicopter pilot is very necessary thing.

  • Not bad for price

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: cheap cost and easy to use, helps from crashing your copter.

Cons: No mistake - those yelow/orange balls are ping-pong balls with a hole (!!!). Agree with others: the entire set could be lighter. In my case was necessary to apply some glue in those ping-pong balls (they were a bit loose). SKU 42116 hasn't enough "power" to lift this.

Other: Great for keeping your copter safe. Would buy again and tell others to buy as well. Is a must have item for any new R/C helicopter owner

  • Helicopter Training Legs Platform

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: vesh very useful for training flights by helicopter. a small price to help save your money and save your budget. If you fall absorbs and does not teach much damage.

Cons: no manual installation. It is not clear how to mount. With continued use flies stops the balls have to be invented. In my case, registered on the glue, now no flies.

Other: Small amount of money and you can save on failure. Collected easily, mount will torment.

  • It's better than broke your heli

posted by gustavomichel on 15:13:28 G7T 09/07/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Price is great - considering that US$2 could be the diference between an intact or destroyed helicopter.

Other: Could be very heavy to be lifted from small US$20-30 helicopters. Helicopters from US$40: buy it ! For some models is a litle tricky to fix the legs support.

  • Cheap but not so strong.

posted by Darkowls on 08:36:30 G6T 17/06/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: -Cheap
    -Easy to assemble
    -Fiberglass shafts

Cons: - Weak central hub - broke on first landing
    - Not so easy to attach to my helicopter

Other: The central node is not very sturdy. It broke after one hard landing. Other parts are OK though, will try to use them without central part.
You should attach it to helicopter carefully - central hub should not be hit by helicopter itself.
    Spheres are actually ping-pong balls.
Shafts are strong enough, made from fiberglass, I think.
Plastic clamps was useless to me - I attached it to helicopter landing skid by wires.

  • nice for the price

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: plastic balls and bars look hard enough for the job. I bought 4 of these for all my helicopters. for some of them I can do with just 2 bars in cross in stead of four but plastic connectors are uselesss then.

Cons: not a very good fit between bars and plastic balls. looks like they can fall off on impact.lots of plastic connectors I don´t know how to use. came in a delicate plastic bag. at least none was broken

Other: remember this is for training only. I think they look horrible when fitted on your fab helicopter.
