  • Way to much red.

Pros: Perfect fit on my lens. nice quality and good finish. Could attach another lens onto this one because it has inner thread as wel.

Cons: The effect with this filter is that everything turns into red. green + blue are suppressed.

Other: good quality build filter but not what i was expecting. if you like to have a burnt /red effect? then this is a filter for you.

  • Good neutral density filter

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It has one of the more used variations in neutral density that you will need in photography, allowing decrease the amount of light easily. All 72mm lens can be associated with this filter to allow you take your photographs more comfortable and easily.

Cons: None, it's working just expected.

Other: It's worth for the price, for the quality and for the utility.

  • It's not NEUTRAL filter

posted by Vdovec on 13:04:33 G11T 09/11/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: does the job. prolonged exposure time from 1/200 to 1/40s build quality is good, metal ring with threads on both sides - you can screw another filter on it

Cons: it's not neutral. it has greenish color for human eye, so it's warming up pictures for camera. color balance is completely off, but it's nice for autumn pictures. leaves are more saturated, more red, yellow and orange.. see the picture

Other: wouldn't buy again. it should be neutral filter, not greenish filter. but hey, it's cheap. if you don't mind it, and you will correct colors afterwards, buy it

  • amazing price

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: May not be the perfect ND8 filter but does it's work like it should. And much more cheaper than regular ND filters

Cons: this ND filter may not be plain grey, but it's close enough to neutral grey so whatever light it lets through isn't affected too much in colour, just in brightness.

Other: ND filters are great to take photos with an wider aperture in sunlight without burning the photo, or making long exposures during the day! (for example when you want a waterfall to look smooth). So look no further, this ND right here will allow you achieve all these affects for a fraction of the price of ND filters you find you may find on your local shops

  • This is not a true ND filter

posted by dvfree on 08:50:16 G10T 24/10/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's light weight and easy to carry.

Cons: This is not an ND filter, this is a deep magenta. You can hold it up to the light and see an obvious red cast. A Neutral Density filter is supposed to be NEUTRAL! Not add a magenta cast.

Other: If you want a cheap filter to play around with this is fine, but it's not a real ND filter, it's deep magenta. Sometimes that actually works, so even when I go buy and actual ND filter, I'm going to keep this one.

  • Great choice

posted by phophollety on 21:09:31 G5T 19/05/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Its a great filter, ND8 model, so it will let only 12.5% of the original light pass. Good attenuation for strong sun days, when you want to keep the aperture but you ISO is already in the minimum and the exposition very fast ( or when you do not want to force your shutter to go to the fastest exposition, 1/8000 in my canon 7D )

Cons: No cons at all, very well constructed, very good package, easy to use, sharp and clean images. Came really clean. Easy to clean with isopropanol and some soft cotton sheet.

Other: Listen to me and buy.
