  • Good quality

Pros: Good quality and make the function well. Screw and unscrew perfect, i used in one lenskit 18-55mm Canon, and fit perfect.

Cons: I can't tell you, for me is everything ok, but the white balance is affected, than is good to shoot only in RAW for better edition after-shooting. But that is not a real cons.

Other: I'll indicate this one for my friend if someone ask for a good filter.

  • Good filter for it's money

Pros: Good quality, screw - unscrew on lens is of metal, paint and filter itself are solid. Fits great on Nikkor 55-300 lens. Comes in nice plastic box. It's great in reducing flare from light objects, I really enjoyed shooting with it.

Cons: Didn't find any - other reviewers mean hue shift, but I didn't noticed any significant shift with this filter.

Other: Pretty good filter, great value for it's price, as usual for Green L filters.

  • good except the material

Pros: Fitment is really good; it's simple to attach; effect is really coll; the package is really good to carry in pockets/ bags. i think this is a really useful filter for any kind of photographer.

Cons: the material is not like as i thought; the lens of the filter it's pretty spotted, i don't know if this is normal, but it doesn't affect the picture at all

Other: if a friend of mine are looking for a cheaper filter i'll definitely indicate this one.

  • Premium ND8 Camera Lens Filter (58mm)

    posted by mayden4 on 04:43:54 G3T 20/03/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Cheaper than brand name competition. Stackable ring. Solid construction. Even coverage. Good item for beginners to have in lens kit.

Cons: Hue shift towards purple is quite significant. Stacking multiple filters exacerbates the issue. I'd not recommend using more than 2 filters at a time.

Other: Good for long-exposed time-lapse shoots. Shutter speeds get lower at the expense of color accuracy. If color is important to you, expect to pay $50+ for brand name glass. These are cheap, so you get what you paid for.

  • Good cheap ND filter

posted by theanalyst on 06:03:36 G5T 11/05/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: +Cheap +Good build quality. Coating applied evenly and without distortion

Cons: -You can make only RAW photos because it changes white balance and tint. -Dynamic range increases very slightly. HDR-images look worse than expected

Other: It's worth the money, but is not suitable for professional use. Buy one of them to see if you need a higher quality ND-filter or not.
