  • Great strap

Pros: Feels great and is really better looking as the standard neck strap which makes you look like a tourist. This gives u more control and function. One side feels like real leather (but isn't ofcourse) and the other is with dots for maximum grip

Cons: The connectors are a bit cheeky. I always have to strap it tighter else it's too big for my small hands. Could be better fit with larger hands. The smell when you open it, is abit bad but goes away after some time

Other: Great price and makes you look better than the neck strap!

  • A good strap

Pros: It´s a very useful hand strap for me who use the camera to shot videos. So the camera it´s always at hand. There is a hole under the tripod and so on.

Cons: Sometimes it´s little hard to take off the hand to make some adjustments or to reach some buttons on the front of the camera.

Other: I recommend. But maybe if you use heavy lenses it can be not too confortable.

    Pros: - Low price

Cons: - Build quality is poor (3 of 5) - Not comfrotable to use. For example I can't use my EF-lock & focus point select buttons on Canon EOS cameras. It is a little bit small for me despite I have not really big hands.

Other: You get what you pay for. It is just a cheap hand strap with decorative leather. I have tried it and sold it the same day. The new customer seems to like it. So it might be just a matter of taste.

  • Excellent product!

    posted by TAC2X on 10:36:01 G4T 18/04/2013 certificated customer

Pros: This grip is built with a very good quality. It is also very easy to install: screw in the only screw, and that's it! The price is excellent also.

Cons: The packaging is missing (unfortunately, it came on a simple plastic bag). If you are willing to resell it, is a pitfall.

Other: A must have! Every photographer must have this attached to his/her camera!

Pros: Comfortable to hold the camera with one hand so it does not fall out of your hands. No need to wear a belt around his neck. Not expensive price. Good lower bracket. There is a hole under the tripod and so on.

Cons: Not for heavy dslr cameras. I'm a Canon 550d with a heavy lens does not fit. Weak belt construction.

Other: I will consider a more expensive model. But for small cameras fit. Picked for the trial, said the price for the quality of resold.

  • Pretty Good Wrist Strap

posted by IngBass on 03:38:42 G12T 20/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: very comfortable strap with a nice price, good in the hand, does not slide. Reliable and robust, full of confidence that the camera does not fall out of his hands. Comfortable grip, easy and pleasant to work with a camera all day. You can use a tripod - at the base of the belt has a thread for mounting. I have to shoot for 8-10 hours, the standard neck strap camera only way. With this strap load on the hand is much less grip, more comfortable, your fingers do not get tired, overall efficiency has increased

Cons: Price Construction Easy to use

    Other: A really good item

Pros: Good product. Very useful when shooting from the hand. Additionally well stabilizing hand when shooting. Reduces the ability to drop the camera. You can set the camera on a tripod

Cons: Everything is OK. No objections to this product. Maybe the strips a little longer.

Other: I suggest buying. Good price. Good quality. Very applicable. Additionally well stabilizing hand when shooting. Reduces the ability to drop the camera.

  • Great strap to replace neckstrap

posted by totus on 14:18:42 G7T 05/07/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Cheap (at least 50% cheaper than in local store) - Good built quality - Fits well to the tripod mount of my DSLR - Has own tripod mount, so you can mount tripod without removing the strap - With rubber inside for more secure grip

Cons: - smell, but it goes away within a week - takes some time to adjust the strap (will tweak it with velcro)

Other: Very good product for the price, and very useful. I plan a little tweak with velcro for faster adjustment.

  • similar to video grips

posted by panaderoloco on 11:33:22 G4T 06/04/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Cheap. Well made. Good for hand held camera, to have an extra something holding your hand. Specially usefull if you don't like using a neck strip. As I said on the title, it is very similar to a camcorder grip.

Cons: 1 Difficult to adjust to the hand. It looks like a camcorder grip, but actually it is only in appearance. It doesn't have a velcro adjustment, only a small plastic thing to loop it. 2 You have to loose it if you need to replace the battery in the body (at least on Canon 7D). 3 It never gets really tight. If you use a Tripod and put the camera on the plate, the camera will always pan a bit to the left and right. I don't trust this thing between my camera and my tripod if i'm moving from one place to another.

Other: For Hand-held it's OK! Tripod not so good.
