  • Good upgrade at low cost

Pros: Really made my computer works faster. There is a good package. The fun cooler makes no noise at all. It got HDMI, DVI and VGA outputs. The HDMI image fits very well even on 42"+ tvs.

Cons: Not a con of this graphic car, but one of mine 3 came broken, although I was able to fix it myself after some research and also some luck.

Other: I bought 3 units of this graphic board, using on distinct motherboards and all of them are making me very happy.

  • A good card, though with some tricks

Pros: It's a fast graphic card, perfect for computers of low range. I mounted it in a PC with a Asrock P4i945GC motherboard, with a processor Pentium 4 Prescott 2.8ghz and 2gb DDR2 RAM.
The games go much more rapid than with a AGP card, executing games as NFS Undercover without too many problems. It works perfectly with windows 7, and with Nvidia's last available drivers.

Cons: The original drivers are slightly old (I believe that they are v. 175.16). They work well with Windows XP, though some games slow down after approximately 15 minutes of game (this does not happen in Windows 7).
On having put the last version of the drivers for Windows Nvidia's XP (or any version more modern than the original ones) the card does not work well, showing resolutions of 640x480pix and color of 4 bits. If I try to change the resolution and the color, it does not do anything, everything is still equal.
I have not found any solution to this problem, apart from using the original drivers or migrating to Windows 7 to improve the compatibility of the hardware.

Other: Summarizing: it is an excellent card for old systems with motherboard PCI-Express, with processors of a core, as the AMD Athlon 64, or the Pentium 4 in forward.
Also it can be perfectly cost for powerful computers, though his speed and DDR2 memory can remain frames in demanding games with the system.
A very good purchase, which in Windows 7 or Vista will not give any problem, alone satisfactions.
