Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Compact, good build quality, easy to learn layout, very easy to use for small projects

Cons: Has less pins then its bigger brothers, but size comes with compromises, isn't it?

Other: I really recomand this board for digital projects where size really matters.

Pros: Fits perfectly in a breadboard, so you can develop your DIY projects quick and with less wires. It's really small, like a little lighter. Works with Arduino IDE without installing any special driver (I tried it on WinXP and Ubuntu).

Cons: No cons, the product worked as expected. If I had to complain about something, LEDs' brightness is very high, so don't stare at it directly for too much time.

Other: Buy it. Open the package. Plug the USB. Run the Arduino IDE. Start doing amazing things!

Pros: This is 100% Arduino Nano board. It is very cheap but the quality is very good. I purchased tens of them and all worked perfectly. Comes with USB cable (although quite short). It suitable for a large variety of projects. Basically it was impossible to beat this. That;s why I included in a lot of my projects. In conjunction with the NRF24L01+ wireless board you can build networks of these devices. You can interface with the also very cheap ENC28J60 Ethernet card. If you also consider the V-USB library you can build a micro computer with wireless, Ethernet and USB capabilities. It is amazing.

    Cons: None.

    Other: Perfect product.

Pros: One of the cheapest arduinos on the market. It works to 100% as it should. Can be programmed as an normal arduino nano with the atmega 328p. On it is a standard ftdi, so you can use it with the standard ftdi driver (important for mac users). Everything is allready soldered. The quality of the Soldering is really good.

Cons: The usb-cable is very short (only 30cm).

    Other: 100% recommended!

Pros: I received the item this morning. It seems well built and fully compatible with arduino. I've tested it with some sketches and worked as expected

Cons: It took me some time to upload sketches, as windows 7 did not recognized it properly. Finally I got to uninstall the device from Device manager, and reinstalling it using drivers under the arduino folder. Then it worked fine.

Other: I had previously owned an arduino UNO, as I learned to use it, I started making some projects. Now I am using this to control a coffee packaging machine, so I will let this little one do all the work.

Pros: Good price. Funduino Nano functioned as expected.

Cons: 1) This board has a conflict with Windows 8. That is not the vendor's issue, however. Switched to Windows 7 and all was fine. 2) This purchase triggered a credit alert on my card. Not a vendor issue either, but I know now to check with the card issuer after the next purchase.

Other: My first purchase here. DX processed my order immediately and placed it in the mail that day. I will order from them again.

  • 100% compatible

posted by romainpnct on 18:41:32 G1T 20/01/2014 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: So far totally compatible with official arduino Dirt cheap Fits perfectly in a breadboard Good build quality

    Cons: Absolutely none

Other: Recommended buy, especially to begin using arduino platforms. Be careful manipulating it though : I bent some pins getting it out of a breadboard (but it's fixed now), because with the high density of pins on that device, it requires some effort at first to unplug, and if you apply too much force, the last pins that come out of the breadboard will bend.

Pros: It works It appears to be a fully functional arduino nano with an atmega328 core

Cons: None, I really can't find any with this price and the fact that it works flawlessly at that price

Other: If you are any sort of hobbyist/hacker, get one of these bad boys right now, you can't afford not to. Even if you hate arduino, I think this is the cheapest you will ever be able to get a prototyping board of this size and power.

Pros: Great project. Just received it. Tested it with a few of the basic examples, and it works just great. Awesome price. I have been a Arduino Uno user primarily. I am looking forward to building smaller project with this one.

Cons: Took a little long to arrive. I wish dx would let me know when an item is out of stock before I order it. Blue LED light is a little bright on the eyes, but that will not hurt my project

Other: Great buy. Should have bought more, but will buy more shortly.

Pros: My first Arduino board. Build quality is very good. No accompanying documentation, but I went online and downloaded the Arduino sw - after 5 minutes the board was reprogrammed and running. Comes with a very short USB cable.

Cons: Includes no documentation. But does not matter since the Arduino community is very large.

Other: If you want to play with uControllers and do experiments, then get this board. Now it is sold out - but come back and check.
