Pros: Looks good Works stable and flawlessly (so far). Just plug and play Has input for AC adapter (even though not included) Included USB cable has some length on it

Cons: The plastic maybe feels a bit cheap? But at least it feels like it isn't going to fall apart. Could be a bit more distance between the ports (wasn't enough space for my USB block erupter)

Other: Have been using this for a few days, and so far I haven't experienced any problem. If you're looking for a cheap and decent USB 2.0 hub, buy this!

  • A good and stylish hub at the right price

posted by eMund on 15:30:39 G8T 20/08/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Small, convenient and easy to store. Handy to bring it on a trip or to friends. It is fast and not notice any loss of data. Long cable and the great benefit of standard cables. Have used all the ports at the same time without problems. Stylish and simple in its design. No disturbing logos or so.

Cons: There is no direct negative but if I have to find something that would be that it can not be still. It glides easily on hard surfaces.

Other: A good USB hub for anyone who wants to use one sometimes, but not always leave it on the table.

  • Works great, beware of DC connector

posted by Malvineous on 21:03:38 G5T 04/05/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Works without DC power, being powered by the upstream USB port. Can get 5VDC out of the DC connector with the appropriate cable. Any 5V regulated DC adapter can be used to power downstream devices, if done carefully.

Cons: DC input is directly connected to the power pins on the *upstream* USB port. This means your DC adapter will fight your PC's power supply through the USB port for control of the 5V rail. I suspect the DC connector was supposed to be for power output, not input.

Other: Works well, but should probably be treated as an unpowered hub to avoid damaging your computer's USB ports.

Pros: Good quality, works plug-and-play on my windows 7 x64 notebook and windows 8 x64 as well... sheap and simple to use. It came with a usb cable that can do the job for this part.

Cons: The building quality isn't the best... but for only 6 bucks, its good enough

    Other: none...

Pros: As my old silly ufo shaped USB hub has died after 10 years of serving (i always hated this silly shaped device and finally it has died), it was time for another hub. Personally I hate silly shapes like pig, monkey or something. So I was looking not only for something working good, but also looking simple (thus good) Mine came white. I liked white. And neat blue signal led shines nicely too. Plastic is good to touch and look at. Works o.k. Connected two 2.5 USB HDD with external amperage source support. Works Ok. I like it came without external power source as usually we have loads power sources at home from different devices. (Must be regulated voltage source - 5V ). I specially liked good price, does what I need and looks like device, not sex toy or something.

    Cons: no

    Other: Rewcommend

  • It works!

Pros: Previous USB hubs I had tried had trouble delivering enough power for a simple keyboard and mouse. This hub however has no such issues. with all 4 ports populated it continues to work reliably. The one I received was white rather than black. Light on top is blue.

Cons: I think the original USB cable was a little flimsy, so I might have replaced it with another I had spare.

Other: Great choice. slightly more expensive then some of the others, but it works. Who can put a price on that?

  • Small, handy USB hub

posted by GeeJiiZet on 07:02:02 G12T 14/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's small and lightweight, still feeling quite sturdy. Comes with a nice looking Micro-USB cable for plugging it into a computer or other host. As with any USB hub, it works plug-and-play. It also has DC input for external 5V power supply in case you want to use more power hungry devices for which the computer's 500 mA is not enough.

Cons: Does not come with the DC adapter, and the DC jack is a bit smaller than most common DC plugs here.

Other: If you need a small USB hub, this is a great buy considering its price and the fact it can be used both with and without external power supply, although it doesn't come with the DC adapter.

Pros: Small and very useful, I connect keyboard, mouse, printer, etc.. I call it just making the notebook very easy time to unplug the notebook to hang out with. Pequeno, e bem útil, consigo ligar teclado, mouse, impressora, etc. Ligo apenas ele no notebook tornando bem fácil na hora de desplugar para sair com o notebook.

    Cons: Nothing. Nada

Other: Easy, you only need to plug in the USB and is ready for use. Fácil, somente é necessário plugar na USB e já está pronto para uso.

  • Work perfectly

posted by superboy on 21:59:17 G1T 24/01/2012 certificated customer

Pros: This usb hub is pretty small and compact and works as advertises. Mine came in white and it has a nice looking blue led when it is in use.
It works perfectly for pc and ps3.

Cons: It does not comes with an external power supply and might not be able to provide enough power to power more than one power demanding usb device like 2.5" external HDD.
Mine arrived without the packaging as shown on the site and came in a plastic bag instead. It look used to me.

Other: It is a useful device and good to have one if you need to expand your usb ports.

  • works just fine

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: I just connected it to my macbook pro without using an additional power cable. it directly blinked blue and when i connected my mouse, iphone 3G, printer and external harddrive they were all running just fine.cable is long enough to hide the device behind my 2. screen next to my macbook.
    thumbs up d.e.!

Cons: feels kinda cheap and the cable could be in an other colour. the silver chord really isn't my style, but it does the job!
the hub itself came in white. would have prefered it in black, but i guess that's the price you have to pay for such a low price: choice of colour has gotta take a break

Other: for the price you get a very descent device which works even with a macbook and other apple devices!
i'll buy it again in case it breaks.
AND you DON'T need an external power cable for this device to work
