Pros: It is easy to use. The presence of a compensating lens that allows you to frame the lens at infinity. Used with a lens Helios-44M from fotoappatara "Zenith" - together with Nikon D800. Prizoditsya the sharpness manually. Satisfactory image quality with minimal edge distortion. Mounted on the lens without effort. When replacing oektiva adapter ring remains in place. Very pleased with the purchase, so ka original object of the same class is 6-8 times more expensive. Ispolzuyuetsya for portraits

    Cons: ? ????????? ??? ????? ??? ??????? ??? ????????, ?????? ?????????????? ???????? ? ????????? ?????????. ?????????? ?????? ????????????? ?? ?????????, ???? ?? ??????? ????? ??????? ?? ?????????

Other: Very positive gain. Higher than expected. The presence of the compensating lens eliminates the problem guidance to infinity

  • Really good and durable adapter

Pros: This lens adapter is metal and very durable. It has correction lens that allows focusing to infinity. It fits very well on my nikon d5100, and i'm using it with my old Helios 44-2 lens which is great bokeh performer :) I also think that correction lens doesn't have significant influence on image quality, so overall it's a great product.

Cons: As mentioned in earlier posts, it's very hard to take it of the lens. Price could be a few dollars lower.

Other: I highly recommend this item!

  • Does the job!

Pros: Made of steel. Very simple to use. I'm using it with Nikon D5100, Nikon D90 and Hellios 44M and Hellios 44M-4. Focus to infinity is possible only with glass mounted to the bottom of adapter. But glass is ok, clear and does not affect photography.

Cons: Price should be lower! Once mounted is really hard to remove. My advice is to apply only a drop of motor oil to the screw before you screw your lens to it. Also my Helios 44M has a little switch to the bottom, which controls aperture ring. Adapter is not screwed enough close to press the switch, so I applied a drop of hot glue over that switch, and everything works as charm. Aperture and shutter speed are manual, no errors, and everything works like on old SLR cameras.

Other: Expensive but very good product. Gives you the chance to use very good M42 old manual lenses on new Nikon cameras.

  • Works fine on nikon D90

Pros: - Its not really expensive considering the fact that its not just an adapter but also has a corrective lens. - no screws on the nikon side that could prevent taking the adapter off your body. - sturdy metal alloy - corrective lens for infinity focus works as expected

Cons: not much cons I can see for this moment. it fits, it works. Price could be a bit better though :)

Other: Great buy, now I can buy and use some on those really nice old M42 lenses on my nikon DSLR :) Also keep in mind that this is for praktica M42/1mm , NOT for the diferent M42 with the 0.75mm wire.

  • best for the price

Pros: the product is fine for the price, i used on nikon d5100 camera, manual mode. Before use, set proper White balance for best picture.
For night picture use higher ISO (800) and 1/30 shouter speed.

Cons: there is little more space in the security tab on the camera, which can cause a shift in focus. I will use a small layer of super glue or something

Other: the product is fine for the price

Pros: 1. With it i can use old soviet lens on my Nikon D5100.
    2. Focusing on infinity, and even a little furthe.
    3. No gaps in bayonet.
    4. Lens can be removed and install without tools.

Cons: 1. At full aperture frame fuzzy.
    2. There is no chip to communicate with the camera, with lower models, only works in a mode M.
    3. Reduces the amount of light.

Other: If you do not have money to buy the original lens, adapter is the best solution.

Pros: Great product. The adapter looks quite solid and fits perfect in my Nikon D90. Main pros: 1) Tens with M42 Mount fits great within the screw mount 2) Nikon mount fits great in my cammera 3) Corrective lens to infinity focus has a good quality 4) It allows me to use old lens. My favorite an old Cosinon 125mm 2.8F

Cons: No important cons: 1) Instructions in Chinese 2) It has a little tiny silver screw in the camera mount side I just took off for precaution before testing because I've read in macro tubes forums that same screw may stuck the piece in the camera. It worked great though.

Other: I highly recommend this product for those who want to use M42 mount lens in a Nikon Camera. Cheers!

Pros: - Low price; - Easy to use; - Good lens quality; - Body made of metal (non plastic); - Will fit most lenses, manufactured in the USSR (with thread M42); - Mounting on Nikon camera is easy and fast, without inconvenience.

Cons: - Non informative box, but I am sure that this is not a problem =)

Other: Looking at the price is the best offer. In exUSSR countries this thing is cost much more.
