  • Cheaper than non-rechargeables

posted by Srippa on 10:10:40 G11T 25/11/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: 75% cheaper than NON-RECHARGEABLE Li-Ion batterys over here. Its better to buy these even though they are unprotected than non-rechargeables. Usually came charged at 3.9-4.2 volts.

Cons: Need to be careful with overdischarge, since they are not protected sometimes you forget about it and when you see it, voltage has dropped below 2 volts and damage has already started ocurring to the cell. That's especially true for equipment which takes more than 1 cell, what usually happens for me, more often with flashlights is that one cell stays topped off at 3.9-4.2 volts and the other discharges, which if you don't check both cells means you are going to waste a couple of cells.

Other: Buy them, but be careful with overdischarge.

Pros: - My tests confirmed the rated capacity which is simply amazing. They outperform the capacity of the A-branded batteries I used before with more than 50% - After 59 charges there is still no decline in capacity - The price is just unbeatable - The big capacity makes it ideal for many DIY projects.

Cons: - I read in other reviews that the failiour rate of these batteries is high. The ones I received still work.

Other: I was pleasantly surprised by these batteries and will order more of them.

Cons: -Very poor build quality. -Capacity says 1000 mAh, but looks like 300mAh :( -Not protected

Pros: 1. Cheap 2. Most hold their voltage 3. If you get lucky you won't get a bunk one 4. The ones that do work work well

Cons: 1. High failure rate 2. Longetivity questionable 3. They're purple

Other: Would not buy again. If you must go unprotected, go Spiderfire.

Pros: Bougt these for my Aurora WF-800 Q5 1-Mode Cree LED Flashlight (7.4V~17V)sku-08687 and they are working just fine.came with 3.5-3.6 volts in them so that was assuring,I get about 3-4 hours of use out of these (first charge!)so no complaints here!!looks like a better build quality than some others ive purchased and they are actually rated at 3.7 not 3.6 so that is a plus as well(deal extreme might think about updating listing for their own benifit)

Cons: nothing that I dont like about them, they seem to be good quality and the rating is good, not sure how to check actual capacity.

Other: I'm pleased with my purchase and recommend these to anyone who needs this type of battery-no dead cells and no having to return things because they dont work-once again exellent job guys and girls from deal extreme, kind regard's all the way from Australia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Good Batteries

    Pros: - received 1000mAh batteries
    - works exellently with the UltraFire WF-139 charger! no charge monitoring needed, the charger automatically shuts off (will need charge spacers).
    - inexpensive: for around US$20 you can get the charger and 4 batteries, less than i've seen a 6-pack of disposables for!
    - a fully charged cell will last for weeks of intermittent use in my NovaTac 120T, or a day or two of heavy use
    - stays cool under extended use

Cons: none but be sure that you need 3.6 volts batteries.

Other: I've only charged them once with no problems.
Hopefully, they'll hold up. For this price I don't care that they're not protected. I like that they fit a little better in many of my lights. I'll do my best to keep from over-discharging them but for this price I'll just buy some more if that happens. Buy it!!

  • Good batteries

posted by Juanako on 05:22:32 G4T 26/04/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: I have received 1000mAh batteries, I put them into my Ultrafirecharger and when both batteries are full put into a surefire torch. It works perfectly and keep the charge so long. I don't know if the batteries are really from 1000mAh but do the work which is the really important. I recomend this product to all that need this type of batteries. The price is very good.

Cons: The only problem is that th batteries are not protected but you know this when you buy it. If you know it, it isn't an important problem.

Other: If you buy this batteries you must buy Ultrafire charger.

Pros: price, price, price = major no 1 pro, plus well put together cell come in purple/violet color and stamped 1000 mah so without checking probably 550+ at this money just the fact that they are well made and work well is enough, i`ll buy a few more as spares, usually use 16340 protected but some flashy`s wont take them so these are just the job.

Cons: not protected , but you knows that when you order, no cons as far as i can see just be careful with charging and watch the discharge.

Other: bottomline is the bottomline= low price for decent quality cells.

Pros: Received batteries marked 1000mah. Seem to be of good quality so far. Charge just fine with the nano charger. They will probably fit lights a little better than the protected ones. Much more light from flashlights that can handle this voltage vs a primary cr123.

Cons: None really. Not sure if the 1000mah rating is accurate or not.

    Other: Happy with the purchase.

Pros: Great value, lasts ages. Has not exploded yet and Ive put it though a VERY hard duty cycle far beyond what it was designed to do.

Cons: I dont like the color purple. its a slightly offensive color and I dont like the font in which the data is printed, jokerman would have been far more fitting. It gets hot when in prolonged use but its not unbearable, just nicely warm.

Other: Great product, i cant believe i found this. For the price of these i would have bought a 1 time use one, now it will work forever (almost).
