Pros: Works great, signal is strong enough. Screen is big enough so i can see it where ever is my 12V plug in car. It is nice to have folder function. It would be better if i could use it without remote control

Cons: It dosn't shows title of file playing on screen. Folder function ony awailable useging remote control. Be careful it is little bit fragile, but for the price it is just fine.

Other: Works well, sound quality is ok, if you need FM tramsitter, this one is nice.

Pros: - It remembers the last song played and frequency used - I like this feature, previous FM transmitters I used didn't have that and I hated always switching to the last song played and the correct frequency. - Has it's own volume control (but I just keep that at maximum and control the volume on the radio). - Plays songs from USB drive or SD card. - Big and bright LCD display. - Comes with a remote control. - You can skip the whole songs, scroll through the song or skip whole folders. - You can easily adjust the angle of the trasmitter.

Cons: - There was a lot of noise when I started using it because most of the frequencies are occupied where I live, so I soldered a piece of wire to the board to serve as an additional antenna and the sound is now clear. You won't have this problem if you can find a free frequency. - The plastic body feels quite cheap, it might broke easily if accidentaly hit or smashed.

Other: Very cheap FM trasmitter with a decent sound quality, good LCD display and remote control. Does it's job.

    Pros: Cheap!
Quite easy to use and setup
Works better than a battery-powered FM transmitter I was using previously

Cons: Sound quality isn't too great, but can't complain
The buttons on the remote for navigating up or down through folders are reversed (Folder+ goes down, Folder- goes up)
Packaged was mangled upon arrival (Not DX's fault, I assume Canada Customs opened it for whatever reason)

Other: Perfect little gadget for the price. A local store is selling something very similar for 3 times the price.

    Pros: 1. Good stylish look
    2. Quality audio - no additional noises
    3. Remember last played file - not playing always from beginning of last as was in orevious versions

    5. Very chip!
    6.Perfect work with pen drive
7.Clear backlight display that very good seen even in the dark
    8. Very small - doesn't prevent you to drive a car.

Cons: 1. Very light and therefore may be fragile
    2. IR remote control doesn't good work from rear position
    3. Doesn't have randomize function
    4. Sometimes interfered with another FM station.
    5. Additional noise when there is incoming call on mobile phone

Other: Best choise for this price. Perform necessary fucntions perfect!

Pros: - Cheaply (At us such stand from 10$) - Support SD of cards - USB flash drive compatible - The panel distant control (Comes with an IR remote.) - Provisionable frequency FM - Beautiful package * Display with backlight

Cons: - Quality wishes the best - Hindrances in FM - looks and feels very cheap...

Other: It is necessary to buy, I advise! It is fulfilled more qualitatively, than analogs, let and not much more expensively. If at you an old radio tape recorder it is a good occasion to buy FM the transmitter!

  • Excellent modulator

    posted by jfh913 on 23:54:23 G4T 12/04/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: -Choose ANY frequency between 87.5 and 108
    -Has its own volume control
-Take it in the house and hook it up to a DC power supply and you've got a cheap home modulator as well
-Display is large and easy to read

Cons: -I bought 2 and the face of the one unit fell off. Not a big issue as they are just glued on. I re-applied the face and all was good.
-The control angle on both of my units is a bit wonky as you need to be pointing it almost at a direct 90 degree angle to the unit. Still not a big problem.

Other: If you need a cheap, easy, and quality way to play your music from a USB drive or memory card, this is the way to go. Buy it!

  • Does its job

    posted by ilad6 on 15:16:24 G1T 31/01/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Well lots of pros for this one: -It's smaller than it looks so it doesn't take up a huge chunk of space -It's got a nice easy to read screen -It's simple to use - just plug in your storage device and it plays -Great price for a radio transmitter -Reads USB drives which is awesome because SD cards and other storage devices can be pricey, jump drives are multipurpose and affordable -it remembers what song you were playing when you last turned it off

Cons: -The screen only says what the frequency is, not what song is playing -It's quieter than the rest of your radio stations, so you have to turn it way up. This is true of most car transmitters I've experienced, though -If another station even for a brief moment tries to compete with the frequency you picked, it's going to stop your transmitter, meaning it goes from reasonably-volumed songs to HORRIBLY LOUD STATIC instantly if there's any interference of any kind -It remembers your song, but not where in the song you were -the remote is neat, but basically pointless -no shuffle

Other: Overall, it's exactly what you can expect from its description and price. To expect it to do more would be unreasonable. If you just like to listen to your music in the car casually and aren't going to be super anal about the sound quality, this is the perfect little gadget.

  • The solution for your car stereo

    posted by davx80 on 17:19:25 G1T 18/01/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - The solution if your car stereo can't read mp3 or rewritable cd
    - You can use memory card or usb key
    - Signal is quite strenght and, once you have found the right frequency, there are no disturb on signal
    - It always start from the last song you were listening
    - You can "jump" from one folder to another so you can create different folder with many artist or different kinf of music
    - Screen is bright
    - You can use remote controller or the key on the player

Cons: - Maybe they can put a random function so you don't have to listen the song in the same order
    - Remote controller is not always working properly

Other: Maybe if you have an hi fi car stereo, with good loudspeaker, this is not your product.

  • Average mp3 player

posted by Grebel on 00:54:27 G1T 01/01/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The unit is small and compact. It has an easy to read display and it it easy to use. I set it up in a few minutes without instructions. It is small enough to not get in the way

Cons: Sound quality is not good at all. the sound lacks depth compared to normal fm radio broadcasts. Played it on an Audi system and it sounded rubbish. Played it on my pick-up system through two 4" speakers and it sounded OK. The remote needs to be pointed directly at the unit ti work.

Other: If soung quality is not an issue and your sound system is average meaning nothing fancy, then buy it. If you have a decent sound system or if you drive a car with a factory fitted system I would look at something else. For the price, you get what you pay for I suppose.

  • Good cheap little mp3 player

posted by MyPassword on 16:10:58 G8T 12/08/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Nice little mp3 player. It works well with both tf and sd cards (haven't tried usb yet).
The signal is quite strong and I haven't had any problems with interference.
Another nice feature is that it continues to play the song where you left it if you turn off the car.

Cons: While it comes with a remote, the remote isn't all that useful. It needs to be pointed directly at the mp3 player and be pressed quite hard in order for it to work.
The biggest problem for me is that there is no shuffle function. Makes it quite annoying if you have many songs by the same artist on there.

Other: All in all a good buy, but would be much better with a shuffle function and a well functioning remote.
