Pros: 2 controllers, half the price. No need for a driver, I just plugged it in and went straight to Super Meat Boy. Works great.

Cons: The cable between the controllers could be longer. Yet it is great to cuddle with the person you're playing with, or hit her with your elbow to make her lose when she's winning. If you are single and have nobody to play with, then those things aren't for you. Feels a bit cheap, just like the price. If you are used to crush nuts and almonds between your fingers, the joysticks won't last.

Other: Less than $10 for each controller is a great deal, and unless you have personal space problems or you are finger wrestling, this product should put a smile on your face.

Pros: Not so expensive Works well Good buttons and sticks Good cable length

Cons: The built quality isn't the best, but works for careful players

Other: Works perfectly, has a good cable length, so your friend playing beside won't affect your gameplay, it has a good price (just check other USB controllers like this and you'll see what I'm talking about). I don't have any regrets about buying this one, it worth the money!

  • Tied together, but works great!

Pros: If you have few usb-ports, it's usefull that they only use one.

Cons: The cord for the second controller goes through the first one, so the people who use them can't sit too far apart.
Guess not as sensitive as original controllers, but what do you expect. Works well enough for Mario Kart! :P

Other: Since this pack of two controllers cost about the same as two individual controllers, I'd recommend buying two individual ones, since they are not wired together.

Pros: these are built quite solidly. on windows xp, it's plug and play, and is recognized as human interface device. no driver is required, all you have to do is plug it in

Cons: the shocks aren't that sensitive. they feel a little digital as opposed to analog input. what this means is that if you are playing a game such as a flight simulator game, it is difficult to get smooth controls. it's either on or off.

Other: over all these are great. i used them to play NES emulator games all summer long haha

  • Good dual controller set on a single USB

posted by superdaves on 09:30:21 G2T 12/02/2009 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: This controller set is being used on a WinXp solution to provide 2 controllers in a single usb port. The units feel pretty solid and all of the buttons are standard for this type of controller. Being able to have 2 controllers on one USB is also a bonus for those that have limited USB ports

Cons: after a few months of use, one of the joysticks essentially lost it's spring (ie with would not spring back to center when un-used). This became a problem as you start to get drift in the various games (mainly used it for lego star wars). Had to switch to the d-pad for movement which was ok but kinda annoying. Also since both controllers share a usb, it's hard to separate it out if you buy another. You can't just cut the wire and use the last remaining good controller

Other: When it worked, it worked well. Still usable but long term durability was not that good with my unit

  • Good Value, Long Term durability questionable

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Good set of gamepads
Works well on all software that I tried it with (primarily the Lego Games)
Saves you one USB port by being linked

    Cons: Short cable
The driver for the rumblepad did not install correctly. After searching the web, I still was not able to find a driver that made this unit work. I think it may be a hardware issue but not sure
After about 2 months of use, one of the joysticks (left side used for movement) no longer maintains the spring back to neutral. Now it tends to sit near the top which causes a upwards drift when playing. While it still works, it's annoying to deal with, will prolly buy a new set.

Other: Good price for the unit, not sure about long term durability. Obviously for the price, it's not bad and initial quality was great but now I need to replace one of the gamepads

    Pros: Great price, great product!
Work on some of DX7 or above games.
    Works fine on Vista.
Without driver work all buttons, but not motors.
With driver intalled everything works great.
It has long cables (apx. 1.5 m).

Cons: Screw is missing that hold one of the motors.
This problem is probbably only on mine device and is easy to fix.

Other: I would probbably order another pair !
    Great deal !
I recommend this product to all readers.
    Happy gameing !

Pros: Bought it to play Lego Indy Jones.
    Controllers, are sturdy.
    Wire length not bad.
The buttons are comfortable, but a bit stiff some times.
The software isn't even needed to use it, Vista recognises it automatically.

    Cons: Not cheap :D
The Analog sticks are abit hard to press against but that can be worn in.

Other: Great buy if you need controllers for something. USB plug so its PnP, No need for software.

  • It works

Pros: It's all working perfectly. Quality is good. I was expecting to have some problems letting the gamepad rumble, but that was just a peace of cake. You install the driver and just can use the options from your emu/game to let it now you have a rumble-pack/shock-ability.

Cons: As other reviews already have said the cable is short and the joypads are linked. I always put my laptop on a table in front of the couch and we sit down with friends. When you use it that way, the cables are long enough. But when your pc is a couple of meters away you will need an extention cable.

Other: I'm spending at least one evening a week on the couch just playing old school games on a N64 emulator. Just chilling, it's great.

  • One won't work

posted by Sairo on 22:07:50 G7T 18/07/2008 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - It was detected right away.
    - It looks very nice.

Cons: - One of the controllers just won't work...
    - Since they're attached, I can't remove the useless controller, and it takes a lot of space.

Other: Other than the "minor" setback of having a useless controller, it works well, and I can play all the games on all emulators with the controller. Buy it if you're feeling lucky.
