  • It goes everywhere with me

Pros: Really small and light, rugged, great battery life for the size and power, excellent price. This goes everywhere with me, I've used it a lot. Whether it is for finding the keyhole at your house, the light switch at the hotel room or the keys fallen off under the bar table it is almost indispensable.

Cons: The twist mechanism seems a bit weak, prone to accidental activation and requires some maintenance. No focusing options. Could be cheaper.

Other: The best keychain light you could buy for the price. As a comparison, there is only one notable brand selling something similar (multi-mode, single AAA flashlight) and although it has focus and a normal BUTTON to activate it costs about 4-5 times more and outputs less light.

Pros: Really small, very bright. Will stand on the back end so it shines on the ceiling and lights the whole room. If your 10440 battery goes dead it will work on a regular AAA (just not quite as bright). Seems like a really good quality light except for the one item I mention below.

Cons: When I first got it I couldn't get it to work with the 10440 batteries I bought with it. It worked fine with a regular AAA battery though. I finally realized there was a blob of solder in there at the edge of the circuit board keeping the positive terminal on the battery from touching. The AAA has a taller positive terminal so it was working. I just added a small bit of solder to the center of the circuit board so the 10440 makes contact now. It gets hot really fast because it's so bright and since it's a small light there's not enough metal surface area to dissipate the heat. Can't really fault it for that, it's a small bright light.

Other: This is a nice small flashlight that is very bright for the size.

Pros: Really small and bright I love it, I carry it everywhere,Its light weight, twisty modes, very bright,5 mode every thing you want in a mini torch threads are O rings seal right I added belt loop clip so I dont loose because it is so small

Cons: Its hard to find fault in the perfect mini,,So its to small get lost misplaced are maybe because it doesn't accept the protected battery very well and I like a belt clip

Other: Considering the size, weight, modes and brightness its sweet you get what you pay for and this mini is worth few extra $$

Pros: if you are looking for a EDC flashlight look no further than this. this is a really good bang for buck flashlight and for the price i really don't think you could get much better. this is a exact replica of the Fenix LD01 which i carry with me all the time. build quality is not as good as the fenix but is just as good. one good thing is that this light has many different modes low-med-high-strobe-sos and it has mode memory which is great. it is well sealed with o-rings. the finish is very good and so is the knurling, very grippy. very bright on 1.2v and 1.5v batteries, even better on 10440's will fit protected but very very tight. i would recommend running 10440 unprotected, it fits better.

Cons: build quality is ok but could be better. threads are ok but do not twist as easily as it sould. only comes with strap, i would recommend including a clip or even a key chain

    Other: cheap edc

  • Most Powerful Tiny Light

Pros: This light is so tiny yet so powerful. It's three different brightnesses are needed because sometimes it is just too powerful for what you need. It remembers the last mode you used.

Cons: It is sometimes troublesome to go through all five modes (dim-brighter-brightest-fast flash-slow flash) to get to the setting you need.

Other: I love this light, and don't go anywhere without it.

    posted by thething4 on 12:50:22 G3T 20/03/2012 certificated customer

Pros: Incredibly bright for such a small flashlight!
It's well built, the threads are smooth and there is a o-ring.
Takes both AAA and 10440 cells!
The smallest flashlight I ever bought, can stay in a pocket without any problem.

Cons: You have to tighen thread to turn it on, it's not immediate.
If used with 10440 cells (which are a little longer than AAA batteries) you have to tighten VERY hard to have it turn on.
Get very hot in less than 30 seconds, not for longer use, at least with 10440 cells.
It's very expensive, should be cheaper.

Other: A good EDC flashlight, but only if used occasionally, it's not suited for long run uses.
    Very good size/power ratio.

Pros: very bright flashlight, with 10440 battery it might be 150 lumens, can't measure the light output,
incredibly tiny, i knew it was small but when you have it in your hand it's even smaller, really tiny.
it is very light, without the battery you can barely feal it's wait.
threads are lubricated and well masined

Cons: the quality is ok but i was expecting more,
it looks better in the pictures.
the part where brinyte is riten is bloury it looks like your seeing double.

Other: it's a very small and very bright flashlight, could be a little cheaper, but overall i am satisfied.

Pros: Small - fits comfortably on your keychain Very powerfull (with 10440 Lion) lightweight memory works fine it can use any AAA - prime, NiMH or Lion good runtime (exept max with 10440 - which is to be expected

Cons: the protected 10440 is too big for it and you have to twist it very hard to switch on/change mode the positive contact is just ablotch of solder - not very reliable over time - my 10440's have worn it out half way for couple of days

Other: very nice little thing to have on your keychain

  • Very little and stylish!

posted by teamen on 08:50:49 G1T 26/01/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - a very compact size is high quality of execution
    - the multimodeness is a feed of AAA, NiMh and 10440!
It good and enough bright flashlight even on the feed of 1.2 v.
Well and the mode of memory works correctly, memorizing the last used mode of brightness. It comfortably.
Sizes and weight of lantern allow to use it even as a key trinket.
Including and switching of the modes is produced easily one-arm turning head part of lantern.
In the mode Hi worked already more than 40 minutes on NiMh, farther I did not begin to wait, it already not bad. Thus it was only a bit warm.

Cons: a bit sharp cut under a small strap in butt-end part of lantern.

Other: I think it is a good lantern, I like his mini-size and high quality of execution. Fully bright and on NiMh, but think it is necessary to put 10440 to get complete satisfaction.

  • Brightest single 1.2 volt cell light

posted by VJJohn on 10:37:10 G10T 12/10/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: This is a little brighter than any AAA single cell Fenix light when running them on a standard 900mah 1.2 volt rechargeable AAA cell. Comparing it to my Terralux 2-AA cell light, rated at 220 lumens, but really only around 170-180 lumens, I'd have to say it's around 100-120 lumens. After my 80 lumen AAA Fenix light died after being on my keychain for a little under 2 years, I decided to take a chance on this one. The Fenix (not available in my city) cost me over $60 to be delivered to my house. At that price it should have last over 2 years, but didn't. It was not banged around, dropped, or got wet. So if this little light even lasts me a year on my keychain, it's a better deal for the price. Some say this is expensive, but because it's the same quality, & a little brighter than my expensive Fenix, I think the price, with shipping is very good. It remembers your last setting so you won't have to cycle through all the modes. Quality & construction seems as good as, & is similar to Fenix. Did not try lithium, or alkaline cells in it. I wanted a light that can go bright on a regular cheap battery, or my 1.2 volt rechargeable cells, but still last long on a lower setting. On the low setting it is very useful too. On low it is much brighter than my Arc AAA light & my other dimmer, basic Fenix light, the E01. The E01 will run down to 50% in 10 hours, the dimmer Arc will run down to 50% in 6 hours. Haven't got around to testing runtimes with my 1.2 volt rechargeable cells in this light yet, but will someday. Very pleased.

Cons: Took weeks for them to get my order from the supplier, & ship it. So my light arrived exactly a month after ordering it. Previous DX orders only took 10-14 days to arrive.

Other: Great deal for a bright, decent, little light!
