Pros: Easy to connect to my Nexus 7 (2012). Very responsive and much faster to type than using the touch keyboard. Charges using the same charger as the Nexus and keeps charge for quite a long time. Good as a case for Nexus 7 as well.

Cons: Keys are cramped due to obvious size limitations, but that's understandable. Sometimes disconnects and needs to be unpaired and paired again. Build quality is not superb, but adequate.

Other: Recommended for the low price

  • Best thing you can buy for your nexus 7

Pros: * Very good quality * Same pattern as the tablet, it looks very good * Battery lasts months!!! * It is awesome! turns your tablet into a quad core pocket computer! * It's bluetooth! you can use it with other devices, with no need to plug it :D

Cons: * It has a magnet on the right-top corner, it is used to turn off the screen when you close the case. The problem is, this magnet also shuts down the screen when you dock the tablet. you can't dock the tablet with the magnetic sensor side down, and when you dock the tablet you loose access to volume and lock buttons.

Other: Excelent companion for your Nexus 7, take in count the con. Anyway it's a great product

Pros: A nice and sturdy design makes this Bluetooth keyboard good protection for a Nexus 7 tablet. Set-up was easy. Special home and return keys are a nice perk. Price is amazing!

Cons: Keyboard is smaller than a regular type (of course). It will take some getting used to keys being closer.

Other: I gladly recommend this keyboard to someone looking for an outside keyboard while helping protect your Nexus 7 tablet.

Pros: Works great! Fits nexus7 very well, has good reception (to be used really close), it has comfortable keys - this was very valuable, as my nexus cracked the screen (atached to digitizer) and I had to use this keyboard + 1 OTG mouse

Cons: not found any, but did not conduct exhausting tests ;)

Other: Very nice extra for the nexus7. It blends perfectly with its style and replaces other covers. For this price, considering that you are getting 2 things ... it's a very recommendable buy

  • Good keyboard, has some issues though

Pros: Nice keyboard, comes in handy when needing to type in notes. Matches the cool look and feel of the Nexus 7, does not look cheap.

Cons: Came in broken, but I was able to put back together the buttons etc which were rattling loose in the box. Also the slot for the Nexus has really sharp metal, I put transparent tape to safeguard the screen.

Other: If you are hesitating about buying a keyboard, stop doing it and get yourself this product. Good value for the price!

Pros: The quality of construction in good, your back is similar to the Nexus fits perfectly, the keyboard is comfortable to use and once synchronized only necessary to turn on the keyboard and it automatically detects

Cons: I had a problem with the magnet, is very powerful and when I put the tablet on the keyboard the screen turned off The solution was to make the keyboard iman, disarming patiently

Other: The price is cheap compared to what it costs in my country

  • Well designed and usefull keyboard cover with minor "things"

Pros: Good build quality, perfectly fit onto the Nexus 7. Look quite elegant on closed state with Nexus. The stand is well designed, hold the tablet perfectly. The bluetooth pairing is a piece of cake, easily can switch to any international layout (I'd switch to hungarian for my country's special keys). The keyboard also works with other tablets, eg. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 The keystroke feels good (but not as good as any chiclet keyboard on a notebook nowadays).

Cons: Sometimes the "Connect" button not connect to the tablet, but a quick switch on-off solve the problem and reconnect without re-pairing the devices. Using the keyboard needs learning time to type accurate because of the small form factor. In hungarian layout I'd lost the zero button because of the "ö" key.

Other: Even you're not using keyboard to much, it could be a wise choose, because this is one of the best tablet stand and cover for Nexus 7 (besides the Nillkin Smart Cover) otherwise.

  • Fine, but has problems

posted by hanso on 12:44:48 G2T 20/02/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Nice keyboard and cover. Bluetooth pairing works fine. Cover fits good and matches the Nexus 7. Ofcourse small keys but they do work.

Cons: Its heavy due to its battery I assume. And the magnet in the cover, to shutoff the Nexus 7 is much too strong, it also shuts off the Nexus 7 when inserted in the dock. Solution is to use it upside down and let the autorotate solve that, but the on/off key is then inaccessible. Lifting the Nexus to activate is required a lot.

Other: Its not recommended. The magnet design flaw makes it inconvenient. I intend to keep it as cover and live with the upside down issue.

  • Quite useful, with some cons to consider.

Pros: - Fits nicely on Google Nexus 7. - Bluetooth connection easily made.

Cons: - This keyboard has the Automatic wake/sleep feature (magnetic), but this results in the fact that you have to put the Google Nexus 7 up side down (volume rockers and power button at the bottom) into the keyboard, otherwise the screen turns of when unlocking the 'docked' tablet (see video). - Power switch feels "cheap".

Other: Quite useful, with some cons to consider.

Pros: Fits perfect to Nexus Same pattern as in Nexus backside Aluminium body makes it very hard and resistant Bluetooth pairing is good, fast and no problems until now You can use it as your regular cover. It sticks perfect to the tablet. There's a slot to put the tablet on landscape or portrait (better the first), so you can use it like a laptop. The keyboard feeling is ok, no so good as a desktop full size, but one of the best portables I try. Battery life is very good.

Cons: Makes the tablet a bit heavy.
