  • They work

Pros: They work. Simple as that. It's several tiny, tiny aluminum radiators with self adhesive thermal pads. No visual defects on my order

Cons: Depending on the size and temperature of what you are trying to cool down, the miniature size of these ribs might be too small. You can't attach a fan to them(which isn't really a con, since that's obvious) so you rely on whichever air movement you have already.

Other: Great heatsinks at good value. They are SMALL! Buy several bags if you plan on using them for something larger. Supereasy to attach due to the self adhesive thermal pads - BE ADVISED, this is a one time only thing. If you mess up you probably won't be able to re attach it with the same pad.

  • great little heatsinks

posted by designjah on 13:23:08 G11T 20/11/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: well made small little heat sinks. I like the fanned out fins instead of just straight fins like many other heat sinks have. Made of aluminum so heat dissipation should be good (copper would be even better).

Cons: I didn't care for the adhesive tape these came with. I removed the tape and used arctic alumina. I have also used sku 4579 to attach these for a cheaper solution.

Other: Get 'em if you need 'em. They're cheap, work well and look good.

  • Bite-size Heatsinks

posted by wampyz on 16:43:50 G11T 18/11/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: tiny, convenient self stick heat sinks... pretty good heat transfer given that they're self stick... perfect for RAM modules... fins greatly increase the surface area and cooling for these little guys...

Cons: be very careful where you stick them... it's a one shot deal... trying to peel them off to reposition them destroys the adhesive pad...

Other: useful and cheap... great for when you need a smaller heat sink...

  • Excellent heatsinks for your Raspberry Pi!

posted by KooTz on 14:47:49 G7T 01/07/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Great build quality and good adhesive tape, although a little thin but that shouldn't be a problem.

Cons: They are a little to big for a Raspberry Pi but that can't really count as a con because they are not designed for a Raspberry Pi, but it isn't a problem. They still fit really good. But other than that these are flawless!

Other: A great product that does its job at a super great price! A must buy!

Pros: Relly good price and it is well built. I wanted to cool down a few chips inside a netbook, which are perfect in size and depth for this job.

Cons: The adhesive that comes with it is ok, but it could be a little better, because one of the fell off after some time, but it was after a long while.

Other: It is a good buy. I may use it in more projects in the future and I am thinking to buy more of this little heat sinks.

  • Works a charm

    posted by Outlander18 on 06:25:06 G5T 06/05/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The heat sinks have got a good quality thermal contact adhesive on the back of them, are exactly the right size for the raspberry pi, and when combined with a 17x17x10mm fan from Maplins drops the core temperature of the pi down to around 25 c.

Cons: It's a permanent stick, so don't try to remove the heat sink afterwards. The heatsinks are made of aluminium, which means while they won't rust they're not the most efficient conductors of heat.

Other: Overall a good quality product, delivered fast, and works well. If you need a heatsink for any low-heat application this is probably the best choice - but obviously, don't think about using the heatsink to cool something like a desktop CPU or southbridge chipset.

Pros: Bought mine to be used with my Rasberry Pi's. Perfect fit over the cpu/gpu a little oversized for the regulator but can be used on that one to

Cons: could been delivered without the sticky tape as I want to use heat compound

Pros: Decreases heat well. easy to use. Perfect size for most chips. product very cheap and very functional for any purpose. a sink in aluminum with an awesome cost and benefit and functional in raspberry dropped 5 C temperature Portuguese Diminui o calor bem. Facil de usar Tamanho perfeito para a maioria dos chips. produto muito barato e muito funcional para qualquer finalidade. um dissipador de alumínio com um custo benefício incrível e funcional e de raspberry caiu 5 C de temperatura

Cons: I'm not relying on glue product, over time it can get lost. I can not believe this sink in memory is very useful, because the glue is not good. Portuguese: A cola do alumínio não me passou muita firmeza, com o tempo ela pode se perder. Eu não posso acreditar que isso é para memória,a cola não é bom o bastante para durar vários anos sem soltar.

Other: Great product. Portuguese: Otimo Produto.

  • Aluminuim heatsink with Thermal stickers

posted by djzzzzzzz on 11:44:45 G3T 12/03/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: The Aluminium heatsink will effectively dissapate heat through its the heat conducting stickers on its base. Stickers on base make it easy to attach to what you want to cool. Place it close to a fan, such as cpu or case fan, for added cooling effect. Small enough to fit on individual capacitors. Was able to measure a 7 degree drop in temp of the capacitors on my motherboard, but then my capacitors were very hot.

Cons: Aluminium is not the most thermally conductive of materials of all time. Copper would be nice. Nothing is known about the conductive capacity of the thermal stickers on base..

Other: Easy to attach with stickers, cools reasonably well.
