  • Does exactly what it should

Pros: This is inexpensive thermal compound that does transfer heat reasonably well

Cons: Long drying time - around 24-36 hours for me

Other: This does exactly what it says it should, though it isn't a high end thermal epoxy it does a decent enough job for most purposes

Pros: dried well, good structure, and relatively cheap compared to the store prices. So if you need some, this is the stuff you want to buy.

Cons: Does not helped with my laptop, but this could be the laptops fault. It is not easy to dose with the metal tube, but this is not really that annoying. You can spread it using a napkin or other things

Other: If it is good stuff, it is good value for your money.

Pros: *Fairly easy to use *Good quality

Cons: *Could have been a little cheaper (maybe) *Drying time is a bit too fast so you have to work quite quickly

Other: Yes, I'd definitely recommend this product to others because it served my purpose which was gluing my 10W LED (SKU: 164358) to a fansink or whatever you'd like to call it (SKU: 8944) - and it worked (and is still working) perfectly.

Pros: Sticks components down quite well and is fairly easy to use, don't need a lot to secure components either

Cons: Nozzle applicator was a bit too short and thick for my licking needed to be a little longer for more control

Other: It's not bad for the price if you're just doing the odd project and don't want to spend more money on the more expensive thermal adhesives For those on a tight budget, this stuff is great

Pros: The paste spreads very well the temperature is ideal for use in flashlights that become subject to the LED. I've seen worse pasta and all, but this works very well

Cons: I have nothing to say against it because I'm doing great pasta, maybe the size should be several fewer pots to prevent drying of pasta.

Other: I have to buy more boats, because I'm doing well. I use to glue the LEDs in the headlights and so far no problems, I recommend it 100%, you will not regret the purchase.

Pros: excellent heat transfer... convenient tube dispenser... if you poke the tip with a pin instead of cutting it, you can apply it very accurately... awesome for attaching LEDs to a larger heatsink... tacks up well and you have lots of time to reposition part...

Cons: the thicker the layer you need to use, the longer it needs to dry...

Other: excellent value... more convenient for smaller parts like LED SMDs and don't have to worry about tiny screws...

Pros: Pros: Easy to glue power leds to heatsink metal if you do not like soldering. Use it in a thin layer and apply pressure. The component will be hard to remove after half an hour. Just to be on the safe side I have not switch on power for a day after it was glued. I have used it for gluing 1W leds to metal plate. For that purpose this glue is good enough, if you use higher power like 3W, 5W or 10W without a star, choose soldering instead.

Cons: Cons: It takes a while to dry, but compared to many other glues and sealants, its pretty good. The only real con is that it is brittle when dry. Not a problem in most applications, but if you're the joint will be stressed, I suggest adding some hot glue outside the joint after using the heatsink plaster.

Other: - Incredibly strong! When dries, it is as strong as concrete!!! - The paste seems high quality, good compound - It works for everything: computer heatsinks, LEDs, etc... - Good heat transfer - The tube itself (the metal contanier) seems to be thick and seems to last, resist strikes, external pressure - The cap doesnt leak, seems to keep it well closed - It has only 5 grams, but, if you know how to use it, it will last veeeery long time

Pros: very cheap and this is the perfect package for all around use. there is a lot of thermal glue inside it and it gonna last for a long time. i think its silicon based. i use it for the flashlight and not so demanding application.

Cons: its dries so fast. every time you open the tube you have to use a force to remove the dried glue on the top of the tube. i wouldnt use it on the computer hardware. its kinda tricky to remove after the glue take its job.

Other: its small package and you can carry with you. not so great Thermal conductivity but its does the job.

Pros: Tiny tube, the glue has the consistency of normal thermal grease. It is easy to spread. i used it to attach a thermistor, it surrounds the component well and flows a bit into the cracks between the part and the heatsink.

Cons: It takes a while to dry. I don't think it is a rock hard super solid adhesion like epoxy or so. It is a tiny tube, so if you need the stuff regularly , buy a bigger one....

Other: It was the cheapest thermal adhesive, so I bought it. I don't regret buying it.

  • Solid performance for a small price

posted by peoplecanfly on 12:25:09 G1T 09/01/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Works like super glue and conducts heat well. Do you need more?

Cons: Except, that you need to utilize it quickly, then opened, before it hardens in tube, I don't see any more cons - it does what it is supposed to do.

Other: Excellent performance, it sets fast, transfers the heat fairly good as well, easy to use, and it's cheap.
