  • nice circular polarizing filter

Pros: the 58mm cpl filter arrived in excellent shape, along with the other items in the same shipment. Over all the filter does exactly what it is supposed to, effectively eliminates glare and reflected light. at this price point, I would consider it a very good value.

Cons: there are no bad features in this product that I have found in the period that I have owned it, other than the fit of the 2 parts seems a little loose, and as such dust may ingress between the 2 layers of filter glass at some point in the future.

Other: buy this if you need a 58mm CPL filter

  • good price for this quality

Pros: The circular polarizer works as fine as a model which I paid around $70 for. It has nearly the same filtering effect (you have to cut 2 pictures of the same motive in half and place them next to each other and still you can only see a difference if you know there is one!).

Cons: The winding of the filter is a little bit edgy, I had some problems to screw the filter on my lens for the first two or three times. After that it worked fine. The movable part of the lens feels not so tight, I fear that it becomes loose after a while.

Other: Great product to buy for this price. I am totally satisfied.

Pros: It's a good quality filter with fine workmanship. Very useful in sunny days taking off the reflects and saturing the colors. Comes in a hard case that protect him against shippment problems. Be sure that the filter will arrive intact in your home.

Cons: Came little dirty like some liquid dried on the filter glass and I had to wash to remove completely the marks. Somstimes the edge scratch my figer.

Other: I hope the filter lasts quite and give me lots of beautiful pictures. =)

  • A must have in every photographer's bag

Pros: Build quality is very good, especially considering the price. It can accept another filter on top, that's also good. Circular polarizers can be quite expensive and I was very surprised by the price-quality ratio of this product. It's worth every cent and more.

Cons: Let's see. Price ... check Quality ... check The only thing I could see becoming a problem is the oil between the 2 rings, but I'm sure it's no different for other circular polarizers.

Other: Don't hesitate, if you don't yet own one, buy it. You won't regret it.

Pros: Clean and looks great (really a professional look). I one Fuji FINEPIX HS20EXR, I was useful. The landscape taking a photo very useful. The best one on this price.

Cons: From the brightness takes a lot. To wind not easy, but yet dot can be used.

Other: I recommend it to everybody. A thing which can be used well. If you are a professional photographer then I recommend it.

Pros: - Works fine, - it is very easy to put it on the camera and even easier to take it off, - all you have to do is screw it on and off. - The framework is out of metal, so it feels sturdy

Cons: - have no cons at this moment, will notify you guys later on if i find any.

Other: - It's a nice price for a filter, if you are a amateur like me you will not need to buy a 50$ filter when you can start off with a very cheap one.!!

  • Maybe ok for small lenses

    posted by Dissident007 on 14:47:09 G7T 10/07/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Cheap, polarizes.

Cons: Makes anything with a long focus length blurry. Can be hard to remove

Other: If you are shooting landscapes and/or using a short focal length (<55mm), this filter might be ok. If you are trying to use it on something like an animal you are zoomed in on, forget it. The pictures aren't just a little fuzzy, they are totally blurred. Auto Focus, manual focus, image stabilization on/off/whatever, doesn't matter. Spend the money on a good filter and pass on this one.

    Pros: Great product.
You can twist the circle to get the angle that you want.
Stops down a couple of f-stops.
Clean and looks great (really a professional look).
Enhances the saturation of the colors.
Removes unwanted reflections (twist the circle to change the position and saturation).
    Adjustable saturation and reflection remover.
You can use it with another filter with the same thread, in example, a UV filter.

Cons: Stops down a couple of f-stops.

    Other: Buy it now!

  • Does its job

posted by setsunakaede on 14:32:08 G6T 03/06/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Nice simple filter, glass(I think) in alu.
Comes with 58mm thread on both sides, so it's possible to slide it in between your adapter and lens. You can rotate the filter, although I haven't found a purpose for that yet.

Cons: Comes with a plastic casing.
A small pouch would have been more convenient, easier to take it with you.

Other: What can I say about it? It's a filter and it seems to do its job.
