Pros: Does the job.. its nice and fine as of flash in this range

Cons: Its plastic , makes creaking noise when try to move its head, the hot shoe mount moves in the D5100 unless we tighten it with the plastic wheel. The plastic wheel makes you a bit afraid when you try to tighten it.. you will be very careful.. The plastic is ok ok not the best which we can see in the high grade models.. But its fine as it does the job equally well as other costly counterparts ..

Other: BUY IT>> ITS GOOD FOR USE

Pros: This is a very affordable option compared to Nikon Professional Flash that is around 500 USD. It is powerful, it is also a good school to learn how work flashes based on the fact that this flash is manual.

Cons: These kind of flashes consume a lot of AA batteries. It is not a problem of this flash it is a problem of this category of flashes. I will give a try to the Godox Flash Power packs that provide more than 1000 shots with a single charge and amazing recycling time.

Other: I plan to buy a couple more of these flashes. It is excellent DX accepts paypal and credit cards.

  • Great flash for a low price

posted by RicardoConsonni on 06:43:28 G5T 17/05/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Powerful, but you can dial it down - Reliable output. - Fast recharge time - Head turns on two axis, so you can bounce flash light from ceilings and walls, and shoot portrait and landscape shots. - Has a built-in difuser (good if you don't have a dettachable one) and a deflector. - LCD is really good and well illuminated. Buttons are soft and easy to operate.

Cons: - You will need a lot of rechargeable NiMH batteries (and a charger), specially if you plan to shoot longer sessions. Using Enitime and Soshine 2500 mAh batteries, I got around 80 shots of each set, then batteries were drained. I expected more

Other: Flash is well suited for amateur photographers. It doesn't have e-TTL, but for this price it's OK.

Pros: The product arrived in about a month since ordering date. The product looks perfect, clean, no damages at all, no mistakes, well manufactured, good package. Every part of the flash itself is in a perfect condition, nothing broken, nothing bad. Great flash to buy. I will use it as a slave in the studio and outdoors.

Cons: None for now, since I haven't really made big tests yet, just a small test, and it works just as it is supposed to work. I'm VERY satisfied with the product!

Other: Great product, great price, I'll buy more from this site for sure! :)

Pros: Inexpensive but still very powerful flash. Very easy to use. Looks almost like Canon, except buttons and display.

Cons: Charging sound compared to Canon. No E-TTL.

Other: Very inexpensive but still good for home studio where you don't usually even need E-TTL.

    posted by nrh2005 on 13:47:47 G4T 04/04/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: I buy it to work with my Pentax K10D, so: - it's have guide number 58, wich is bigger than the original top Pentax flash AF540FGZ - it's have multiple trigger mode - it's have auto or manual zooming - it's have sound prompting system, nonexistent in Pentax original flashes - it's have an good readable lcd panel - it's have pc port, a resource nonexistent on flashes from Pentax - from output level of 1/8 or below, it can support until 8fps

Cons: - it's not TTL flash for Pentax.

Other: It's worth for the price and features, although it's not TTL for Pentax.
