Pros: Good build quality as im used with ultrafire flashlights. the LED is not one of the brightest but very focused. if you are looking for a small thrower you are happy with this flashlight. the beam shoots more far as other C8 with the much brighter XML T6 LED's that i also own...

Cons: for people that want a bright flooding light, its not the right choice.

Other: the body doesnt fit with a fandyfire STL V6, if someon is looking for this kind of use.

Pros: Wow. The quoted small output of this torch (230 lumens) does not do the torch justice. When I first open the box I was impressed with the quality of the torch body. A very nice black anodised type finish with good quality threads. I purchased this torch to mount above a rimfire rifle scope and am very impressed with the light weight of the torch. Given the single mode of the torch it will suit this application perfectly in conjunction with a remote switch. The beam is very narrow with very little halo spread. This means it throws the majority of its light a long way out so not so good for general usage. The 18650 battery provides long life.

Cons: Only one, the glass lens was a little loose when the torch arrived however I have fixed this problem.

    Other: Great value.

Pros: Very bright and narrow light, easily lights up distant objects from over 200 meters in complete darkness. It's not 1-mode, it has 3 different brightness levels, strobo and SOS. Pretty wide flood light so you can see where you are going.

Cons: Few first times when I used it, It didn't fire up, I had to turn it off and on again. Don't have this problem anymore. It's too bright to use on near objects, it will make you blind on full power ;) It's not the best choice for general usage because of the very narrow beam and bright hotspot.

Other: Very good and bright light for distant objects. I'm definately going to buy more of these!

Pros: A very good flash light, working for hours with one battery without need to charge it. The distance of the light is aroung 150-200 mitures and you can see well on this distance.

Cons: It has a few modes that is working very well, low\high light, SOS, blinking and it's working! He can fall and you can drop it and it will continue to work. I even work with it in the military reserve force and it did the work for me

Other: Very good one, go for it if you need an outdoor flashlight

  • Very Good Light

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: I got this because it has a larger and deeper reflector for a little more distance. The beam is narrow so it does focus more intensely at distant objects. The build quality is good and it fits protected 18650 Ultrafire batteries just fine.

Cons: I don't think the emitter is ideal for the size of reflector. It's bright, but distant objects are only lit up marginally better than SKU# 7418.

The body was a little dinged up before the black was put on, but that's no biggie.

Other: Over all the C8 performs well, but not as well as I had hoped. The G4 remains my favorite.

The C8 is about 3/8" larger in diameter than the G4 so it's a little bulky to carry. Fits perfectly in the "large Flashlight Holster" SKU# 1152.

  • My new favorite light

Pros: The C2's have changed it seems. And this C8 is what the C2 used to be, but better. Overall 9mm longer & 6mm wider @ head Approx : 139mm Length, 45mm Diameter [Body & tail cap are the same as C2]

-Super clean beam with no hexagonal side spill, and very little halo'ing

-New tight tolerance at the hole in the reflector, less gap between LED.

-Solid clicky (reverse, like old C2's)
(not like new C2 light duty switches)

-All the fit & finish quality that made
the C2 such a great light.

-Fits in SKU#1152 "Larger Holster" on the first snap button.

-Can still remove head from tube unlike new C2's

-More efficient reflector provides better light with presumably the same bulb as C2.

-Wider battery tube than previous Ultrafire lights, fits protected cells with absolutely no problem.

Cons: Tailcap rubber was cut a little too much,
so the button overall was abit too recessed. Which made it less easy to operate.

** Quick & easy fix, using glow in the dark replacement SKU#5714 (14mm) cut correctly **

Use only protected cells with positive node.
    such as SKU#5790 Trustfire 2500mAh 18650's

** Not a big deal anymore since they started stocking those **

1 out of 4 came with the LED module set slightly too deep for optimal reflection. Easy fix when you can remove the head & adjust the height, Just tighten up against the reflector.

** Again, no big deal **

Other: Very happy with this purchase,
The "C2" has been relegated secondary
to this new improved version the "C8".
