    Pros: Tiny, works out of the box with Windows 7, Linux, Android Cons: micro usb connector would be a better choice Other thoughts: FTDI chips are more expensive, but more reliable than other brands

    Pros: Good price Cons: Can't adjust the FTDI settings (like inverting the signals). It looks like it's a fake FTDI chip. Only useable for standard TTL signals.

    This module works at 5V, you can flash Arduino Pro Mini boards with it. Haven't tried it with 3.3V devices, some people say it does NOT work.
