Pros: These are very, very bright. I was totally surprised when I pointed them towards a dark corner of the house and turned them on. I also like the three working modes (strobe-flash-always on). Having two of these and enabling the strobe mode creates a fun effect. Oh, and I don't care what anybody says about the price. Light like these cost four times as much in local stores over here.

Cons: While these do make you visible to others, I'd still not use them as my main light source in the complete dark. I use these alongside a more powerful light and plan to move them on the bottom of the fork, near the axle, to shine directly ahead of the front wheel. Also, not entirely sure they're waterproof. They still work fine, but I'm not really sure I will know how to change the batteries in these.

Other: I think this is a good investment for everyone who definitely wants to be seen on a bike. Recommended.

Pros: So cute! It fits any size handle bar, and the silicone grip creates a snug fit that will not move, even on bumpy roads. The light has three modes - blink, rapid flash and steady, and is bright enough to draw attention to your presence on the road. Batteries are included.

Cons: I haven't had opportunity to actually use it on my bike at night yet, so I can't vouch for it providing enough light to see a reasonable and / or safe distance. I did try the light out in my driveway on a dark night, and found that it didn't provide as much range as I had hoped it would. Would it provide enough light for safe travel? I don't know. Maybe.

Other: I am happy with my purchase and would recommend this product.

    Pros: It's great and durable.
The button doesn't get pressed when it's being stored in my saddle bad when not in use, and so the battery doesn't run out.
    Has 3 operation modes:
    1. Strobe (like an airplane's strobe light)
    2. Flash
    3. Constant ON
    4. OFF (dahh!)
It catches attention which makes it safer to ride like that on the bicycles.
    The light intensity is strong.
It's not wasting a lot of battery. I've been using it for over 4 month now (though not every day) and still no sign of drainage on the battery, while on other LED light I had to change batteries few times.
Visable through a wide range of angles.

Cons: That I don't have more of these.
I wish the price would have been lower.

    Other: buy it now!
    buy few!
I'm actually going to buy more now..
(and no, I'm not getting paid for saying that :-) )

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: good build quality
    easy to use,
    easy to change battery.
    3 modes,
flashing, fast flashing and continous light.
Long consumption and long light battery duration...
Cheaper than any other similar you can buy in hungary

Cons: theres 2 lamps in the package, 1 of them doesn't work. maybe battery
the led light is not too powerful, but enough if u have 2 on ur bike.

    Other: good deal
this price is the best for it, at my country, its 10 times more expensive... and just the same product... so, its not a problem to wait for a month...

  • Great for being seen.

    posted by Eric_P on 18:29:11 G8T 19/08/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Can mount almost anywhere on the bike with the silicon loop - Is bright enough to be seen, definitely noticeable - Can be installed and removed quickly if you're worried about them being stolen

Cons: - Sometimes the button is hard to press down - The flash patterns can be very annoying - Silicon seems like it would stretch out after a while.

Other: A good deal if you want to increase the visibility of your bike at night.

  • Good lamps to indicate a bicycle on the road

posted by Afromenator on 15:39:14 G7T 06/07/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - Bright
    - Three modes of operation
    - Easily and quickly installed on any bicycle parts

Cons: In the dark, flashlights shine in face, if you install them on the steering wheel in a horizontal position (when you see the power button). This problem solved by setting flashlights to "lateral side", such as on suspension fork

Other: I use them as a marker lights in areas with large concentrations of people or when I go on the road where there are cars.

  • It's an OK blinker

posted by shlomsi on 07:58:25 G5T 23/05/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Small, easy to mount and remove, nice blink pattern.
Reasonable brightness but no more than that (see cons).

Cons: Not as bright as I expected even in cheap blinkers category.
A major setback is the fact that the light is visible to me (the rider) which quite distract especially in dark areas it throws a noticeable amount of light on my eyes as well as to the front.

Other: All in all a very small, light, blinker that is very easy to mount/remove and with a reasonable brightness and a good blink pattern.

-I is more noticeable on the road.
-The quality is better than SKU 51737 but more expensive price.

Cons: No flaws, except the price.

  • They Work in Wet Old Ireland

posted by liamandagnieszk on 16:26:29 G3T 30/03/2011 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Extremely bright light
Easy to attach to your bike
    Multiple flashing modes

    Cons: None

Other: I bought these to use for enhanced side visibility when cycling in low light. I've attached them to the forks of my mountain bike and they work perfectly. They are extremely bright and have multiple modes, of which the strobe is the mode I use.
Ireland is famous for its rain and I've been using them for many months now without any issue.
If you cycle often and don't mind looking a little silly they are a great purchase.

  • powerful back up light

posted by cyclist on 11:24:27 G12T 20/12/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Very bright. Small. You can stretch them to fit handle bars or forks. Great back up light.

    Cons: None at all.

Other: Good back up lights, could be used as main front light if you used 2+ off them and you didnt need to see where you are going. You can also put these on your hubs if you want to make yourself more visible, recommended, as it does make you stand out quite a bit.
