  • Useful portable keyboard / mouse

    Pros: Small, relatively good price. The backlight is good and useful, can be used in low light. For example, in the evening with the car computer.

    Cons: Shift key does not use the actual key. It instead activates the function keys. USB cable is a little of poor quality.

    Other: very suitable for high-speed tasks such as server administration service, which does not have a physical keyboard. This product does its job

  • I love this little keyboard!

    Pros: It has all the functionalities you would expect from a keyboard in a really tiny case. The quality is very very good and materials are soft and well finished. The touchpad is like any notebooks touchpad out there and works very well. Retroilumination by default once you start your pc or plug it in. You can disable it just pushing a button. The touchpad has touch sensitive primary click. (touching the touchpad like a button will make a left-click in windows)

    Cons: no bateries! only work if pluged into usb port. However, I buy it because of this. Because I'm using it as a keyboard on a mame arcade machine just when I need it and I didn't want a battery powered one. YOU CAN'T MAKE SOME KEYBOARD COMBINATIONS like Alt+F4 because F1-F12 are made using an Fn+another key and you can't combine this with Alt or Ctrl. Alt+Tab works ok. It's only with Function keys the issue.

    Other: I love it. But keep in mind IT'S NOT BATTERY POWERED nor wireless. It's connected with a mini-usb to usb cable to the PC. The cable is pretty long thought.

  • Most Useful Purchase Ever?

    posted by thisiscjmac on 08:08:38 G7T 11/07/2012 certificated customer

    Pros: - Fits in your pocket - GREAT if you're a tech who services touch screen kiosks - Trackpad is smooth and responsive - Keyboard surprisingly easy to type on (you wouldn't want to write anything serious though) - English instructions. Not perfect, but more than good enough for me. - No drivers needed, just works. - Shortcut key (Fn+Enter) for Ctrl-Alt-Del is good - Have reconfigured system BIOSes with it, so it definitely should work with anything that accepts a USB keyboard.

    Cons: - Can't hold shift key down for one symbol, have to press it on, press the key you want shifted, then press it off again - On mine, the light to tell you when Shift is pressed does not light, so you have to keep remembering. - Keyboard is rubber, not sure if it will tear if something sharp drags against it. The rubber sometimes shifts slightly near the bottom, making me press M instead of N if I'm typing fast - Cable is very thin and feels breakable (but it's a mini-USB cable, so really... all I have to do is plug another one in)

    Other: Very happy with this purchase, going to order some more for my colleagues.

  • Great for bringing up server

    Pros: * Tiny!

    Great because you can bring it anywhere. Tuck it into your toolkit or in your messenger bag and keep it with you always.
    Or use it on a system that requires very little interaction, such as a server that is remotely controlled most of the time, and you can tuck this out of the way when not in use.

    Cons: button action is a little difficult. Sometimes you may have to press a button again.

    Other: Primary number one reason to buy this keyboard+touchpad: great for booting into a system that does not normally have a keyboard because most of the time it is remote controlled. You would not want to write a book with this keyboard but it is good enough for logging in and starting Synergy (open source keyboard sharing program). Once Synergy is running, tuck this keyboard away.

  • I use in the car.

    Pros: I use in the car. For control carpc. Has refused the mouse. It is inconvenient at control of the computer in driving. Searched tachpad. This device perfectly approaches. The lung, is a bonus as the keypad. I recommend. At setting doesn't demand drivers.

    Cons: Keys small also aren't so conveniently allocated. To use them for text entering it is possible only in emergency. I prefer the separate keypad or virtual on the screen.

    Other: Excellent thing for usage in a car. Even in driving it is convenient to me to use. If I will not find separately tachpad I will buy one more same.

  • The touch pad is great, the keyboard pretty good.

    posted by ranhefner on 23:53:40 G7T 29/07/2010 certificated customer

    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: * Small and compact
    * Keyboard and mouse in one unit
    * Easy USB connection without additional driver
    * Nice backlight for keyboard

    Cons: * Cheap construction
    * Supplied USB cable is of poor quality
    * Limited touch pad/mouse options.

    Other: If you need a compact mouse/keyboard option for a laptop computer and don't want the full size versions, this one will work well for you. Be careful of the USB cable that was supplied. It is very cheaply made and I don't expect it to last long.
