Pros: Very good product worth being zomm 15x50 buy! Above 15x need tripod. The delivery was on time. Recommend to anyone who wants to observe nature birds. Comes with lens cleaning cloth and a lanyard.

Cons: Does not come with cover for front lens, zoom above 15x need a tripod, otherwise it is difficult to observe

Other: arrived fast than expected, I recommend buying the discrete small product good for nature watching animals.

Pros: The construction is very good and solid. It comes with box, cheap cleaning towel and japanese manual. In 15x you can use without tripod, but more than this is hard to be steady. The focus ring is large and easy to use.

Cons: It is more expensive than other options. But its rivals are worse than Kenko monocular.

Other: Good monocular, good experience. Fast delivery to my country.

  • Very nice monocular.

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Light and small. You can easily fit it in your pocket and won't be bothered. A strap can be attached so You can hang it on your neck. The light weight won't bother You. The build quality is really good. If feels really nice in your hand. The lenses give You a nice zoom. It is great for observing birds, spying on neighbours or checking out chicks. Whatever you need to do with it, You can!

Cons: The "dials" are made of plastic that could be better quality. Not such a big deal.

Other: Binoculars too big for You? Buy this minocular!

  • Small and handy monocular with perfect picture at low (15x magnification)

posted by MikeMail on 07:48:58 G5T 30/05/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Small and handy gadget. Lightweight. Carrying pouch with a belt loop and small loop for possible securing. Two side pocket for cleaning cloth and perhaps note. Non-slip PVC rubber provides perfect grip.

Cons: Came with only one lens cap (eye side), don't understand why. I'm useing cleaning cloth as improvised cap but it's major lack for me. You will get a darker view at 50x magnification (still usable at day light).

Other: Works perfectly at 15~25x magnification (clear and bright picture). Great for trips.

  • Good but hard to focus

posted by flwuff on 08:25:25 G5T 12/05/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Comes with a pouch that can be put onto belts. Has an attachment point for camera tripods or any mount with a standard 6mm tread, useful for stabilising especially when using at high magnifications. Comes with a lens cap for the eyepiece. Wide magnification range of 15-50X, can be used even by hand, although gets harder at higher magnifications. Can be operated with just one hand to change the magnification and focus.

Cons: Difficult to adjust the focus as the knob is difficult to turn, a lot of friction. Also, the focusing range is very large and precise movement is needed to focus on an object, which is hindered by the knob which results in jerky movement of the focus knob. The lens cap is easy to lose, although it can easily be attached to the body by string with some tinkering.

Other: Good buy at this price, consider other products based on your requirements.

  • Nice monocular!

posted by adamsarok on 08:00:47 G2T 11/02/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: + Very good build quality. + Nice clear picture. + Small & handy. + Great price. + Very high magnification. + The focusing ring works really well.

Cons: - Lens becomes very dark when zoomed in. - The zoom function isn't very useful, since you can't really use 50x magnification off-hand. You need a tripod to steady the picture.

Other: All in all, this a great item. You won't be using the zoom function that much, but on 15x magnification, it works perfectly.

  • Really Great

posted by Andechito on 20:19:57 G1T 21/01/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Amazing Zoom. Very easy to use and although it is small, it is very comfortable focusing. The adjustable zoom is really good. The material seems pretty solid and durable. Very portable, great for hiking.

Cons: The fact that it has a great zoom makes it frustrating point to a stable target, unless you use some support. But rather than a defect, it seems a problem intrinsic.

Other: A great buy if you are looking for a good approach at low cost with excellent results.

  • 12~50x21 Sport Climbing Monocular with Carrying Pouch.

    posted by FXST01 on 17:48:43 G1T 15/01/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's easy to use. Quite a good build quality for the price. You can control the zoom and focus. Comes with a carrying pouch with a belt loop and a cleaning cloth. Has a tripod connector.

Cons: At the higher magnification you will need to use a tripod. Slightly obscured by the lens at maximum zoom, where the aperture is smaller. The tripod connection interferes with the zoom slider. Is hard to focus at 50x zoom.

Other: Can't really lose at this price.

Cons: comments on this article do not

Other: Yzel for this there are so many applications, but most struck compactness and power of optics

  • Cheap solution climbing monocular

posted by gboymix on 15:36:01 G12T 11/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: It's very light weigh, very easy to use. Have accessories within package. The bag for item is low quality one, but still makes usage convenient. As I can stick it to my backpack.

Cons: It has very low lens aperture, so when I am trying to get 50x zoom and closing my second eye, I get terrible picture, it's like I look through very bad monitor. Sometimes I even causes tears while looking through it. So I've finished using it.

Other: Well, you get what you pay ) Good quality requires good price.
