  • High price for good quality

Pros: Really solid and stable. Made from "none poisonous" material. My six years old kid was able to operate it.

Cons: It is a bit too hard to release camera. Camera holder snaps a bit too hard. Case... a cheap one A bit heavy. Had an impression, that it will weight less.

Other: Good stuff, maybe a "bit" too expensive as it comes for DX, but good one.

  • Good tripod and good price

Pros: Quite good quality. Quite compact and light weight. the legs seems strong. The locks for the legs are good quality.

Cons: No hook for weight. Not able to put the swivel where the hook would be. I don't like the swivel, but I will change it with the one from my old tripod which is much better.

Other: Definitely worth the price. This is a good tripod and for normal use. I think you can use it for all purposes.

Pros: The product didn't look like the photo, but have good features. I was expecting something a bit heavier, and more study. However, when in use, it does provide good stability. Quick release was stuck in the beginning, but once it was released for the first time, I did'n't have any more problem.

Cons: Quick release was stuck in the beginning. However, once released for the first time, there was no follow up problem.

Other: Good Buy with decent features for the price.

  • Great build qulity!

Pros: The quality really surprised me! It is robust and steady and the plastic parts are really thick and firm. This was more that I was suspecting for something at this price range.

Cons: The "head" was not really tightened and felt a little wiggly, so I uncscrewed it, losened the 3 hexagon screws that were supposed to tighten it, refitted the head tightly and then tightened it with the hexagon screws. Now it is perfectlly robust! Other than that, no cons at all, well maybe the centering bubble-level is a little tacky, but I don't need it anyways.

Other: I really recommend this tripod! I will use it for my Canon EOS 50D and I feel perfectly safe placing my camera on it!

  • great tripod, would recommand

    posted by d3vd3m on 12:35:34 G2T 11/02/2013 certificated customer

Pros: The tripod is pretty lightweight, quite stable, seems like it could take some abuse, is a bit higher then 1.5 meters when fully extended, which is a good thing is you are tall. It has a quick mount with a security pin that would not let you accidentally unfasten and drop your expensive camera. Comes with a decent carry bag.

Cons: had to check all the bits and bolts before use, some of them weren't tightened, used a hex wrench to correct that

Other: great tripod for on the go photography, only thing I would change about it is to make it about 10-15 cm higher, I'm a tall guy, guess my next tripod is gonna be a bigger one.

Pros: This is a very nice product, well built and stable. 1. Legs can be opened "normally" or extended to cover a 180° angle, setting the tripod almost at ground level 2. The center column can be easily reversed, letting you put the camera right at ground level 3. The head is solid, well built and easy to rotate, stable when locked in position. 4. The overall weight is not low, but that's a pro in my opinion as it increases stability

Cons: Some minor cons apply: 1. the quick relase plate was extremely hard to release the first time, I had to pull the handle strongly to open it. But that was just the first time, now it works almost fine. 2. there are no hooks underneath to increase total stability 3. The end section of the legs is quite small, I didn't perform a stress test tough, as they are perfectly fine for a standard SLR

Other: Buy it as your first or second tripod, could always serve as a backup tripod after upgrade.

  • Best thing bought in DX

Pros: Price, build quality. Sturdy, lightweight. A very good copy of manfrotto. Is as good as a brand tripod. Also the bag is very good build and good looking. The ball head is very sturdy. It works like a charm

Cons: None i could thing of.

Other: I would by it again, do not be fulled by other models, this one is the one who is best, in quality. do not spend more money. It is cheap and it is one of the best around.

  • Very nice and sturdy tripod!

posted by GijsBr on 02:48:03 G1T 28/01/2013 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Very sturdy - The clamps on the legs are very easy to use - Nicely padded bag (included) - Good foam handles on the legs - Quick-release that's really quick to use - Angle of the legs can be adjusted

Cons: - Expensive (relatively speaking) - Ballhead is a little primitive - The quick-release was stuck when I got the tripod, it took quite some force to release it for the first time. Now it's fine.

Other: Although this tripod is expensive, it's nothing compared to the price of a comparable tripod. The quality is a lot higher than expected, deffinately worth the money.

  • Manfrotto compatible plate - perfect!

posted by pietrofeliciano on 16:35:51 G12T 21/12/2012 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: spectacular price, good build quality, manfrotto compatible plate; if you lose yours, you can buy another at your local photo shop, as manfrotto sells just the plate for around U$15 all around the globe. Believe me, it is important, you will lose your plate sooner or later

Cons: the way it came it needed a little adjustment, a heads screw was a little loose, but I had the necessary key at home and easily fixed it, now it is perfect

    Other: TAKE IT!!!
