  • Good flashlight to give to a child

    posted by PotentM1

Inexpensive.Fits well in your hand.Zooming function can be done with one hand.Zooming head not too loose - it keeps its position. Not so bright that you would hesitate to give it to a child.Red ring lights when on and helps you quickly spot your child if he/she is carrying the flashlight.Plenty bright enough for finding your way around a dark house.Outer finish seems to be a thin layer of rubber - good for gripping.Good throw when zoomed in (for a cheap flashlight).Easy to use.
3xAAA cell carrier has positive in the front, negative in the back. Too bad Li-ion batteries are very hard to find in this size.
Good flashlight to give to a child. Good flashlight to use around the house. I lend it to my Mother-in-law when she visits and it makes her happy that I lent her one of my prized flashlights - I didn't tell her how cheap it is. ;-)

  • Great all round flashlight

    posted by ven105

Great build quality, nice spread of light with easy zoom by pushing/pulling head .Makes easy use with one hand once used a bit(little stiff at first).Uses AAA batteries x4 so convenient and cheap to run.On a par with my lenser t7 but 1/2 the cost......Fits nicely in hand so a compact flashlight which has a good comfortable feel without too aggressive knurling and ridges.Good battery life for AAA batteries,no need for expensive fancy batteries .Easy to change in holder which does not feel cheap as some other brands do.Solid feel and well machined and no deep recessions which trap dirt etc
For a good all round flashlight that allows a nice long beam to a great flood for close up its hard to beat. Many others more powerful on market but don't feel as good in hand as well as not as well made. The 220lm s more than enough for general use and more....none of this 1000lm for 5 minutes stuff, just a good clean bright light for hours.....far more use in 99% of the time imo.
Great value, great build, great feel=fantastic all round torch that will stand up to everyday use.Although different sizes (excluding my t7)this is my most used compared to my p14 and p17 lensers for convenience offering a similar light with just a slightly smaller flood.Buy it,you won't regret it if you appreciate a good quality flashlight!
  • Good light with zoom.

    posted by 123geir

Great light, good quality and durable. Absolutely recommendable. Fits nice in your hand and easy to zoom in and out. A must for walking in forest etc, Do not seem to be a "fake" product. Will probably last for years of usage.
Great light but quality costs. Have bougt other lights on DX at half the price, but they have broke down or been a wast of my money compared to this one. This is probabaly the best light under 25$ at DX!! Dont hesitate- just buy. Even comes in a gift box!
  • Cheap and bright

3 mode of operationvery useful for different task esp in low lighting condition
Battery life could have been improved and the casing could be made using lighter and better materials
Just buy this torchlight if you require a cheap and bright solution to your lighting needsEspecially with the 3 modes available this torch is going at a steal.Be prepared to spend a fortune on AAA battery or you could alternatively get a rechargeable one instead
