  • Received the YN-460S Manual, no TTL

    posted by aszxdx

Although I received a no TTL automated flash by mistake, the Manual flash can do the job in a 25x25 meters room and with no more than 4m ceiling. A good diffuser is a must have. DX have some. I bought the SKU126449 with the store credit I received quickly and with very polite excuse for the wrong product. The construction is excelent, but you must take care with the door when changing batteries. Oh, they last forever and its cycle is very fast. Ah, yes, and comes with diffuser and white bounce card. Very well packed, and with a velvet bag.
As my model can work as slave and be activated at distance by the pop-up flash or another YN, I'm really thinking to buy me another one, hopping to receive the TTL+Manual model!
If I had asked for a Manual flash, I would be surelly 100% satisfied. Will try to get me the rigth one soon!
  • Great for the money.

Great price, good power, works well with Canon units in wireless mode. Manual is comprehensive.
You can buy 4 of these for the price of one similar unit from Canon. It has it's limitations but as a second, third, or forth flash this fills the need for additional lighting when needed. Will probably buy another.
  • Great Flash also used by experts allover in the world!

    - Good build quality- High Guide Number (68)- eTTL works good with Canon- high numer of exposures per batteries- support NiMh Akkumulators
Recommended also for beginners, easy to use with eTTL. I tried it as well with eTTL via 622C transmitted as remote flash. The non ex II version will also do it in most cases.
I would definitely buy it again!
  • The best flash I've used the YongNuo

Very easy to use and complies with all its obligations. Your time is fast reclicagem. The focus assist is very helpful in dark places. I can say that I feel no difference between it and 580EX II. His quick sync function is very useful. Its construction is very solid and secure. A shoe made ??of iron more safety when using it.Have beeper that warns when the flash has already been recycled which helps a lot for not having to look at whether the light is green or red (indicating it has recycled or not)
For me, the best flash so far.
The price to quality and durability are worth every dollar invested.
  • Great optical remote slave flash

No need for radio remote triggers. Usable with Nikon CLS system - you can adjust the power of the flash directly from the camera, TTL metering works well. Works great both with my Nikon D7100 internal flash and Nikon SB-700 flash in master mode. Build quality is very nice. Basic controls (zoom, power, mode, channel) are straight forward.
It can be also used as "dumb" optical slave, and also should work with Canon TTL, but I have no way to try it.It has fully adjustable head, so you can set the sensors to any direction you need.
Amazing value for the money. If you need a remote only slave flash to work with TTL and in camera power adjustments, this is it.
