  • Awesome Light

    posted by mylosol

Comes in a nice plastic case, the flashlight itself is large and heavy, with solid construction. The light itself is very bright and the functions are extremely handy. The multi-function includes a high and low plus a flashing setting and a SOS feature which I find to be extremely handy for emergencies.
I love that this flashlight is so handy, I have it in my Pick Up for emergencies.
I would buy another! Pick one up, you won't be disapointed.

First it came broken (see message below). The driver was dead. So, i got a 50% refund, ordered a new driver, repaired it myself (installed AMC 7135x8 driver). Now it's pretty bright (can't say is ot the same with original dead driver, but AMC 7135 sure is one of the best circuit boards available).Sure it's a tactical flashlight, very small hotspot from 2 meters is about 10 cm diamter, then the first light ring (5x times dimmer) and the second light ring for about 2 m diameter is very dim. Just a standart thrower light.Build quality is very good except the original driver.
  • Working horse flashlight for daily use

    posted by Sandhoos

I like this flashlight and use it daily. It earns all five stars.Pros: Description of DX is correct in every detail.Current consumption is as described and driving the excellent LED emitter at a very effective working point. Making it very bright for indoor usage but also bright enough for many outdoor activities. The beam is very even without any irregularities and good for uniform highlighting of big surfaces. NO uncomfortable warming up. Good quality of machining and surface. Even the threads and O rings came well lubed.
The beam is V shaped at Zoom-In position and at Zoom-Out position the emitter image is projected brightly.PWM Switching frequency in the two dimmed modes is high enough to avoid the stroboscopic effect that some other flashlight have. Well done.
Did I mention the good price? Hardly to find such a useful buddy at a lower price tag. Would recommend it for the daily use when no extreme values like total Lumen output or highest beam range are needed.
  • Powerfull easy to use Headlamp

    posted by mabiteam

Excellent headlamp for low budget, uses the powerfull Cree T6 in combination with a zoom lense. This lamp follows you, whatever you do, running jumping,... the battery pack makes the counterweight of the lamp. This is a big advantage to the real headlamps for bicycles with the big battery pack in the pocket.
Easy to use headlamp for bicycle rides where you do not succeed to reach home before darkness. Good for 30 - 40 minutes with powerful battery 3600mA.
This is the headlamp for the daily use.Short term 30 - 40 min use of high power flaslight where you have no hand free for a flashlight.Or for those cold days where you prefer to keep your hands in the warm pockets.
  • Good value for price, mediocre build quality

    posted by YenyaKas

It is a cheap and light zooming lamp with XML-U2 LED. The metal parts (lens and reflector) are well built. It works as described.Single battery case means it is light enough - the spare batteries can be carried in the backpack. No need to carry them behind your head.
I bought this as a LED headlamp for night outdoor games, and I thought I may just use the mechanical parts and the LED, and replace the driver with my own. Which is probably what I will eventually do. So from this point of view, I am pretty satisfied with it.I am just a bit disappointed by the driver casing not being moisture-proof.I have designed and 3D-printed a diffuser for it in order to achieve wider beam for e.g. looking into the map during the night. I will eventually put the design for download to thingiverse. Watch my thingiverse account for the design:http://www.thingiverse.com/Yenya/designsThe reflector came with silver finish, not a black one with a silver ring as shown at the product page.
Cheap, light and powerful headlamp for dry weather.
