  • Useful to have in weak Wi-Fi areas...

It does a good job on picking up rather weak WiFi signals. Very easy to hook-up and use.Good for the price. The cable is a good length.Nice and attractive design.
    Nothing here.
Overall, it does what it's supposed to do, and its worth the price. I'm satisfied with the performance of this product. I primarily use this product on the far-side of my basement, and the router is on the second floor- still get a good signal.
  • almost good

small, fast, minimum driver needed,2 internal antennas - really upto 300 Mbps if used with routers 2/3 diapasones
Drivers inside of the box comes on small size cd.I tried it on ultrabook, without cd/dvd drive, thus needed once internet connection to automatically download drivers.
good but could be better with antenna efficiency
  • Works Pretty Well

    posted by jpmnogueira

Worked just by plugging in the USB cable in windows 7.Substancial gains versus the laptop's internal card.
Can't really say if the antenna is 58dbi or if it's 5800mw as stated in the description. The software that came in the CD provided can only de instaled in chinese and I didn't find any way to change the language. The realtek and Ralink utilities are instaled in English.
Works pretty well though the price could be some 5$ to 10$ lower.
  • Good camera with limited 720p

    posted by Malvineous

The camera works very well under Linux with Firefox. The picture is quite good, but about standard for a webcam. The camera runs Linux, and if you have a MIPS compiler you can upload and run your own programs on it.
The 720p image is cropped to 640x480 for web view, rather than resized. The firmware is very open and you can telnet right to a BusyBox/Linux command prompt. Make sure you don't allow others to connect via telnet or they can corrupt your camera's firmware, as well as finding out your camera's username or password remotely. The 720p stream uses about 450kB/sec while the 640x480 web browser stream uses 1.5MB/sec. If less bandwidth than this is available, the framerate will be reduced.
A standard version of the MayGion MIPS camera which works well enough. But be careful if you put it online as it is quite easy to accidentally make your camera freely accessible to the entire world.
  • The best for my netbook

    posted by carlosart26

Excelent Price.Perfect size to transport with my netbook and laptop. The receiver is really small, it makes it very easy to handle, even with antena.
The size is perfect to use on my netbook. Also works excelent with a bigger antena such as SKU: 25036. I really recomend it.
Some friends loved it and purchase their own.
