  • Perfect for replacing a commom TL-tube!

    - Very cold light, very bright!!!!- build quality is very good.
I bought six of those, to replace 2 "old" TL-fixtures of 40W. Each LED-lamp has 3 emitters in series, powered with SKU 156230. To dissipate the heat of each emitter is fitted them on a Aluminum profile of about 1m length using good thermal paste (of course).
Gives MUCH more light than that "old" TL-tube for about the same power consumption.Other benefits: no flickering, lifespan 10-folded.
  • maximum light, maximum heat, minimum life

so much light, so so so shiny, you can be blind, you can think that you can use one of these in a room on evening instead of regular ceiling lamp.
you have to use it with extra heat resistance otherwise inner small leds in the COB led can easly get burned one by one. Mine Leds got burned.
it you know how to use it with heat resistance and with low voltage and low amper, buyit they are perfect for you. Otherwise they will be a short life.
  • Good loght but TRUE 3W NOT 10W!

    posted by bigbobanCZ

Good cold white light, it works on common 12V voltage. It has homogeneous light so you cannot see every single led inside.
I think description is invalid it is only 3W not 10W and 1000lm is surely also invalid. So price could be lower.
It is easy to solder wires, led are covered by silicone. Dealextreme should fix invalid specifications.
  • So Far So Good

Incredibly easy to solder due to the extended legs with through holes. Quite bright. Cool runningSeems to be the correct colors for plant response
I received 4 of these just a few days ago. Currently running a 19.5V constant voltage supply, 3.3 OHM (10 W) resistor, and then two grow lights in series. The lights are affixed to a 3/8" thick plate of Al with an old P4 heatsink on the other side. Ran for 8 hours with minimal heat buildup and the basil seemed to respond well (went from curved towards the window to vertical while on)
Much cheaper than purchasing a combination of 8 red and 1 blue LED, and so far seem to be functioning as expected.
  • Daylight LED...

    posted by wampyz

high-output relative to the colour temperature... convenient cob panel allows for easy heat-sinking when driven at maximum current... good light beam divergence...
used two of these to retrofit a burned out standing torchiere lamp... powered by an old 12V 1.6A switching power supply from an old networking appliance... if you've got standard ceilings, two is probably all you'll need... might need to add a third panel or a diffuser to spread the light out more if you have very high ceilings...
great component for retrofitting to LEDs...
