  • Good choice when you looking for very short antenna

SRH-805S is good for 70 cm band.Good choice when you looking for very short antenna (only 5cm)It works well with my Yaesu VX-2R.
I think it's great if you like work on repeater in city centres and... what can I say... For me: great! :)
For repeater mountain top use or for the short hop into your mobile (or base) for cross banding this is the way to go. There's no flexible whip to bend or kink, and the stub's so short that it won't poke your side.
  • Not exactly a improvement over the stock dualband

    - low price- some reception improvement over the stock dualband at 2 meters
Well, though it has some glue residue on the middle base, it seems nicely made, especially the BNC connector. I didn't actually test the transcieving.
Well, if you already have a dualband antenna that you use for wideband RX or RTX on 430 and 144 MHz bands then don't bother buying, because there is just slight improvement. If you don't have it, then it's a good deal. Also will do good for a scanner antenna.
  • High Gain Antenna for Walkie Talkie

    posted by AigeasX

A very useful antenna for specific purposes. It works very well, its has a great length. It works fine with my yaesu.I use it on 4x4 trips and i put it next to my car's radio antenna. It is also very flexible.
I think the producers must think of a bit durable external material so as the antenna not to crack.
I suggest it but the buyer must be careful how he handles it when he pack it inside a backpack.
