  • Linux compatible, fantastic little device

Tiny little device, good quality tv reception here in New Zealand.
Contains ITE9135 chip (I opened it up) which has Linux support (see below)
To get working in Linux, you'll need to compile the ITE9135 driver. Very good instructions here:
Other useful information here once you have the drivers working for pre-tuning the channels and getting a channels.conf file for VLC
Good little device with linux support, included antenna useless but can just cut cable and connect to outdoor antenna for good performance.
  • Totally works for SDR

Very Nice Hardware, RTL2832U + R820T.Comes with a little antenna, only suitable for strong signals.Works perfectly for SDR porpouse.
I'm using with SDR Sharp and Rtl-SDR latest release. Just google for osmocon SDR site and SDR Sharp, no trouble getting the software. The unit comes with a blister package, with a nicely written english description, it also contains a remote control and the antenna. The unit is recognized automatically in windows 7, but you will need a tuner software depending on your need.
Buy It. A lot of fun for this little price.
  • It works, but depends on signal.

Easy to install. Just put the CD, install drivers and software and plug the thing into your USB port.
Really works. Got 12 channels here at home, where I tried with an old stand alone receiver and got no channels.
Wish there were a way to make the antenna more powerful. Better: wish that brazilian government could make something decent for a change and make digital tv signal better.
Well, it does what it is intended to do. It's not the device's fault that the signal sucks so bad around here.
