  • You get what you pay for

Very nice design, i like it, Glossy finish on the outside that looks good. By the shear look of it, it looks like any high end Logitech, Belkin etc etc. There is both power addapter and extra usb cable included, so this is plug n use out of the box, no extra stuff needed.
You get what you pay for.
Unless you are planning on dragging this with you, and unplug/replugg with carelessness, or dropping it or handling it too rough, it will be just fine. Recomended for a desktop enviroment where it will stand in a good spot
  • My favorite hub

This is a great hub both because it has 5 ports on the front and two on the back. You can hook "permanent" things on the back and use the front for things you plug in ad hoc. Powered!
Keep in mind when comparing prices that this hub has 7 ports. So it is roughly the same as having two 4 port hubs tied together -- so the price "per 4 port hub" is half what you are paying.
Not the cheapest hub on DX, but high quality, very attractive, very functional.
  • Nice product

Worked perfectly with all my raspberry pi peripherals (wifi dongle, wifi keyboard, usb hdd, bluetooth dongle, etc.). I even used it to power my raspberry pi, it booted but the voltage between TP1-TP2 was around 4.65 V, not enough for safe operation.
The ports are tight, I even had some difficulty inserting some usb plugs. I guess it's a good thing, since these ports tend to become kinda loose. The power source is rated at 4 A, which is good enough. I plugged 7 devices and my raspberry pi was able to use them all.
Pricy but it's a nice product that solved my problem.
  • Good, but no so good. Got it?

Nice looking; smaller than appears on the photos; really useful stand; good data rate; and no heating on the hub itself or the a/c adapter (as mentioned on one of the reviews)
The worst thing is that this thing is good apart from the build quality. Specially because of the external power source. I can now plug a 2.5HDD enclosure and a wifi adapter on just 1 usb port with no issues.
Too bad that it is now a 6-port USB Hub.
I bought it to mount on a HDTV PVR device, to record HD programing on a 2.5" enclosure (witch uses a lot of transfer rate) and connect a wifi adapter to the same PVR. So far, so good.
But I only reccomend it if they make it propperly. Cheap stuff can't mean poor-made stuff.
  • As described, truly High speed 10-port USB Hub.

This bridge (hub) device is very fantastic. It works seamlessly with all your USB devices attached to just one USB port on your computer through it. Plus it also displays very cool LED to show you what device is connected and active. It's so nice and worth the buy.
