  • It works on 230 volts OK

Seems to be solid, well made, no sharp edges and mains pins fold flat to allow easy packing for travel. Pretty good valueThe charger contacts adjusted perfectly to fit my battery. Spring loaded contact pins are great. The slide holding section was tensioned perfectly for my Nokia battery. For my use I think it will last a long time as there is only one battery size to charge.
I bought this to charge up my 'spare' cell phone batteries and it fit those batteries perfectly.
No English instructions. If you need to charge spare cellphone batteries out of the phone then this will do the job.Note the slightly above limit cutoff voltage mentioned in cons.
  • This is nice

It works fine. There is no need to watch for the polarity of battery, it is automatically detected. There is a spring-pushed plate holding the battery firmly in place, very smart imho
The charging light is pinkish-purplish when charging and turns to blue when charging is complete. On the pins one can measure 4.2 Volts, this is standart charging voltage for Li-Ion batterys and should work for most. There is no risk of overcharging
This charger is one of the things that is simple and just works. I dropped my phone to the ground and it doesn't want to charge its battery anymore so i have to charge it externally. This charger saves me from buying new phone

It's compact and lightweight. It's cheap, however it isn't far better than a $2 noname 220-to-USB charger you easily find here at DX.
Build quality is good, PCB is soldered accurately, plastic looks good.
Description says there is auto-polarity detection, and it seems to work, however the PCB is signed with + and - marks, which mean polarity matters. I can't find a datasheet for controller IC used in this charger.
When you connect the battery, and disconnect mains plug (or there is a power fault) you see anyway one red LED indicating the battery connected. I think it would discharge the battery after time.
Well it works, it's cheap, however it doesn't what you expected from such a promising LED display.
  • Does not include Power Supply

Huge capacity for the size/weight. For the few things I need to use it with, it doesn't add much size, but they will run a very long time. Can provide a wide range of voltages.Charges reasonably quickly for the capacity, and indication is clear.

    Wide range of adaptors.
I would rate it higher if it included the AC adapter as pictured here (but not in the accompanying documentation). Even higher if it also had a car adapter. It also doesn't give a range around 18v/750ma so I don't know if my 19.5v laptop adapter would be safe, or if my 16.5v would work.

The "voltage range" typically will mean, except for 5v (usb) devices, that it will be pack->adapter->device instead of pack->device. I don't know how they could keep it small yet allow finer setting of the voltage, but that is the only real technical complaint I have with it.
As a USB charger, (if you have an 18v power supply available) I don't think there is any better pack for the money (under $10/1Ah). And the capacity is enough to run things for hours. They should include the recharger.
  • Great product

Do what it meant to, the make is good plastic...not easily damage...
maybe can come in more colors so as to match the interior of our cars..a simple LED indicator will be much better so as to let the user knows that the battery is fully charged so as to prevent over charging of any battery.
Just buy one and try and u will see what i am trying to say. Its really paying peanuts and getting gold nuggets in return...
