They are cheap, as expectedThey have double isolation, somewhat unusualThey are also stackable, which is awesome for extending measuring probes etc.
Quite cheap, and a good option of you cant/wont afford the real deal
Likely to get more of these, as they get the job done despite their shortcomings - but can't be beat on price I guess. The fact that they can be stacked and are double isolated makes them very useful to me,
  • Very good Hook

Easy to use, high-quality material, cheap, good usability.
Very handy thing for repair of various equipment, but not for phones - too large hooks. Spring presses hard enough, thread is compatible with leads UNI-T. Plastic shell does not slip in your hands, the hooks do not stick in the closed position. During use helped so many times. advise for use
An excellent choice in terms of price / quality / usability. Good choice for people engaged in repair.
  • Best deal I could find on these

Genuine UNI-T product. Hi quality construction and materials (nylon, steel, silicone rubber??). Strong grip/hook action seems ready to take on repeated use and abuse. Flexible tube insulation looks to be silicone rubber (though I'm not 100% certain of this).
The pizza I'm baking is almost ready. (Hey, that qualifies as OTHER thoughts, right? :) )
These type of plunger probes usually sell for several dollars more elsewhere. A very good buy here on DX.

    - Works (well, it appears to work and I haven't killed myself yet).- The build quality is excellent.- Batteries included.- Simple to use.- Made of (good quality) plastic (good) to provide that extra assurance that even if this device didn't work, I won't kill myself.
    - DX needs to sell more high quality stuff like this.- Reviews obviously help build that trust.
It's inexpensive and while I'd never depend on it -- it does provide an extra check that I'm not going to touch something live.

These are exactly what I was looking for to attach to circuits under test without having to hold probes. Has a banana jack to attach these and another set of probes at the same time.
Even with the twisted pin, it is still able to attach to the circuits, but the shroud doesn't close properly around the tip.
Not bad, though they seem a bit expensive for the quality and what they are.
