  • Ultrafire C-8

Very nice looking. Good build quality. Two O-rings on head and one on tailcap.Glass lens. Fit and finish are very good. No blemishes anywhere. 5 modes. Reverse clicky. It's an excellent "thrower," and should be good for long distance. It still has good useable "spill" light so you can also see things up close. 240 lumens is probably close to the actual output. It's pretty bright.
I see no good reason for next mode memory in a flashlight. I would have rated it higher if it didn't have this type of memory.
If you want a really nice looking light, that's anexcellent "thrower" and don't mind this type of memory, than for this price, it's a good deal.
  • Nice couple of batteries

Nice couple of batteries, well build. Solid envelope, comes with a container, so you do not need to buy a box to store them.
Good enough for the price, last long.
Really a good values for your money, nice batteries with case.
  • So Bright!

This is an excellent drop-in, by far the brightest I've owned. I currently use it for a SureFire G2 LED that is mounted on my hunting rifle. I've had Q5's and R2's before but this is at least twice as bright. It even gives me around 50m of really good light with a green filter on.
Comes better packaged than my other drop-ins. I'm so glad that DX offers these 1-mode drop ins, the 3- or 5-mode might be good as a comping light but they are useless for weapon mounting with a pressure switch.
I recommend anyone who is thinking about getting an upgrade for their flashlight to get this drop-in, it's simply put amazingly bright and will give and old flashlight power that you did not think possible!
  • Very good copy of branded flashlight, besides driver

    posted by MaofKO1990

big surprises for me was: - square threads - forward clicky Build quality is very good, close to branded flashlights... This is best quality i've ever seen by Ultrafire. - TIR optics (better efficiency as reflector + glass) - strong clip, can be put in both directions - big o-rings - LED is centered well - deep knurling - anodized threads and tube - gold springs on both sides (driver, switch)
    nothing to say...
Great copy of a branded flashlight in great gold color, but driver is 100% crap, must be replaced. I uploaded here also some photos.
  • Bright drop in for UF 302B

    posted by lasermanathome

Gives much light, the lower power modes come in handy. There is really a T6 inside.Throw in very good.Does not become overheated.
The overkill T6 leds does not have to work on its max, like driving 60miles an hour in a Ferrari...So the led will last for ever, i think. The driver does not give much current, t6hat why the drop in is not so bright but 500 lumen out of an UF 302....For its performance it is a cheap and good drop in
