  • Probably the best mini torch sold on DX

Small. Very small. Small enough to put anywhere. It is about the length of my pinky finger. It's pretty bright. The Q5 is still a fairly decent emitter. The best part is the reflector. Consistent and even throughout the flood with a nice throw and a good sized hot spot. A slight orange peel on the reflector. Really, this is an amazing light for the price. I was quite surprised when I turned it on.It can tail-stand. It breaks down into only two components: the head and the body of the light. There is an oring after the threads and behind the lens and it does seem a tight fit but I wouldn't put any trust on the waterproof-ness.
Needs a button that can do momentary on.
I'll be getting another one or two of these.
  • This is Awsome-O

A great light with over 100 Lumens of light output. I'd say somewhere around 120-130. Has a nice build and will work with both protected and unprotected RCr123 (and it twist/closes all the way with both)Has 5 modes and a decent strap.
A light touch to the on button will shuffle through the modes faster. I also bought the 3W cree p4 which is 20% shorter than this one(a pro), but slighty dimmer and only one mode.
Buy it, become a jr flashaholic, and then buy the other models to compare.

Very nice looking. Good build quality. Two O-rings on head and one on tailcap.Glass lens. Fit and finish are very good. No blemishes anywhere. 5 modes. Reverse clicky. It's an excellent "thrower," and should be good for long distance. It still has good useable "spill" light so you can also see things up close. 240 lumens is probably close to the actual output. It's pretty bright.
I see no good reason for next mode memory in a flashlight. I would have rated it higher if it didn't have this type of memory.
If you want a really nice looking light, that's anexcellent "thrower" and don't mind this type of memory, than for this price, it's a good deal.

The quality for the product is great, it does what it has to do.I use this for my flashlight and it gives me all the lumens I need. I would not hesitate to buy this product again.
Why would you not get a few of these? They are only a little bit more expensive than the non rechargable ones at Wally world.Just get 10 of these and a charger and you will never have to buy CR123s ever again.
