Low power needed to run itLooks durable, well madeMounting holes on the face plate
I have this powered with four LX-B580 (search DX) solar cells in parallel - it's much more than needed, one this cell could power it well. It draws 25mA at 6.5V from solar. I couldn't stall it with my hand, but made some moderate load and it drew 35mA. Still powered by four solar cells.
It took only few hours to ship this (with other DIY parts), but 8 weeks to deliver it, most of the time sitting somewhere in China (probably).

Ordered 6 of them, and non of them sounded the same then i tried them, but thats not importent, guess they just needs to run in for a while.
Ordered 4 more of them today, gonna use them in a scale model of a ponsse forvarder ,one for each wheel,
to bad that DX dosent sell gears and pulleys that fits those motors, and i whould like to se more diffrent sizes of geard DC motors
They should be shipt with noice rejection condesators.
And there should be gears, pulleys and wheel adaptors availabel at DX
Useful and high "bang for the bucks" rate
  • Good motor, good value

Very solid all metal gearbox, lots of torque. Good quality for the price. Faceplate has threaded holes for easy install with bolts.
Other motors from the same manufacturer with different reduction ratios available on dealextreme have the same pros and cons I would imagine.
It's hard to find all metal gearboxed motors for less than 10$, but here's one.
  • Good Torque Type Motor

Have a strong MagnetPinion Motor already in " D " Shape Design, prevent it from slippingCan take about up to 170 Spring, over than that, you can drain the batteries fast
ROF or the FPS of your Airsoft unit is depend on how do you setting it, just for to know, it can easily takes 140 spring because of it's strong magnet
None. Will buy it if i have another money ;PIt's the cheapest one in the market
  • Very well made

+ Solid, robust build of gear section+ Smooth run+ Fairly high torque+ Bigger shaft diameter (though, this could be a minus for someone)
Used for fishing rod turning rig, so it has to run for long periods of time (couple of hours or more without pause) when drying rods. After a month of regular, practically daily use, motor still runs without a problem, like the first day i got it.
In pair with more expensive brand DC motors. Highly recommended.
