Excellent raw material for those who want to produce high uality sodering. The price is also very competitive.
Making good soldering sometimes is chalnging, specially when you are working with very compact circuits. This 0.81mm tin solder welding wire helps you in getting better results from your soldering jobs
It is a good product, I recommend.

Normally I use SKU: 119948, it is expensive but good quality. DX has other solder that is good but they are thicker, for SMD work I need as thin as possible. I used this today with my metcal iron and it works just as well as the much more expensive 119948 that I normally use. It flows very nicely and quickly.
Have not used it with non-metcal irons but I suspect it would work equally as well with low cost irons.
    Good solder, good value
  • Nice Solder

I'm not sure what tolerances these are made to, but at least in my case I received solder that is ~0.4mm thick, as measured with digital calipers.
I am not a heavy user when it comes to soldering stuff. I do lightweight hobby projects once or twice a year that require such thin wire. This has so far been a good product for my use.
If you're not working on anything sensitive and are patient, then maybe you can make do with this solder, but I wouldn't recommend it.
