  • It is all what i expected to be

Compact, good quality, serial interface (SPI), well known controller (ILI9341), lot of drivers for almost every MCU. I get it to work with my STM8S as soon as i wired it correctly (don't forget - it's 3.3v, and RST and SCE is Active Low so they have to be pulled to ground by external resistor or MCU settings).
It was my first color display. And, as it SPI - it is slow for something realy good. But it quite allright for static information display or first steps in MCU learning.
For me personally, it is too small and too slow. Now, as i tasted it i want MOAR!!! :) Although one can find a use for it, that's for sure.
  • Good quality, easy to use

Very impressive image quality, good readability, easy to connect to arduino using the LCD mega shield you can by here also. Use the UTFT library and just change the screen type to 'TFT01_32', and it will work! The touchscreen also works very well, you don't have to push it very hard, a light touch is sufficient.
If you're looking for a larger screen for your diy projects, this is the one to get! You do have to use an arduino Mega to be able to use the screen, the touchscreen and SD-card reader at the same time
    Very good buy

    Good value for money.
When this first arrived my heart sank as I has no idea how to program it.It took a lot of searching and false trails to finally discover that this is an SSD2119 LCD screen with an ADS7843 Touch Controller.Once that was over I soon found datasheets and sample projects. The board is initially setup for 16 bit data mode which hardly anyone uses. You need to unsolder a pin to use 8 bit data mode which is more compatible with the numberous demos.
A good buy but you need to make some effort.Screen advertised as Arduino Ready would probably be easier to use.
  • Feature-packed LCD with good software support

This is identical to the TFT01-2.4 LCD sold by ElecFreaks. You'll find tech specs and sample code on their web site.Compatible with the awesome UTFT library, with supports Arduinos, Chipkit (PIC) and some ARM processors. Specify the S6D1121 controller (model parm ITDB24E_8).Compatible with the TFT01 Arduino shield (DX 179397) - I'm using mine with this shieldPerformance with an Arduino is surprisingly good: no noticeable lag with line graphics or large fonts.
Based on the comments at the bottom of the page, there seems to be some confusion about whether the unit has 40 or 44 pins. Mine has 40, but is labelled "sod44pin" at the bottom. Go figure.Haven't tried the SD card socket yet.
Amazing number of features for the price.

the screen is exactly what its supposed to be and works just as the onld screen did. it was packed nicely and fit perfectly its a full color screen and was really easy to instal
if you have a dsi and need to fix the bottom touch screen then this is what you need. it fits perfectly and is really nice and clean
its a good screen it beats buying a whole new dsi just because the screen is broken.....or enev if you need a spare screen for a just in case part if your klumzy with things
