stepper motor driver controller Customers Reviews

  • Works as expected, and at a very affordable price

It was cheap, less than the price for a L298 chip alone in my country.I had no problem hooking it up to a stepper motor, and the onboard 5V supply regulator comes in handy for supplying other parts of my project. Each output as a green led associated with it so you can verify the stepping sequence,It also have a switch that can be used to shut off the controller board.
I'm using this board connected to a parallell port. Hook a common ground to the GND part of the power terminal, then signal the IN pins in correct order to step the motor.
Useful, cheap, and of acceptable build quality. I will be buying more of these because it was so easy to use.
  • Works very well

This is very good bipolar CNC driver controller. Works with 5v power supply, doesnt sink to much current. Very durable and reliable.
The project I realized CNC driver with L6203 is from here http://www.cuteminds.com/index.php/en/l297l6203. Used that schematic, and everything works. Instead of 0.33Om 2W sense resistors, put 0.33Om 5W, and big cooler with fun on L6203 pair (can be used one for both)
Cheap and reliable CNC bipolar driver controler. Worth of use.
  • Very good product

Works as expected. Extras:- Has a internal voltage regulator (7805) to provide 5v to circuit. You can enable or disable this voltage regulator with a jumper (5V_EN).- Very well done.- 1 led to indicate on/off state;- 4 leds to indicate motor direction (2 for each motor)- 2 jumpers (CSA, CSB) to current sensing for each motor;- 4 jumpers to fix direction of motor. (UR1~UR4)
    - You need remove the 4 jumpers (UR1~UR4) to use the IN1~IN4 inputs.- Using jumper 5V_EN, you can use the same supply power for logic and motor. And you can use this 5v to supply external circuit.- I tested with a DC motor.
Very good product for DIY projects.
  • Small, cheap and good quallity

Great price. Small as i expected. Good quallity at this price.
If you make an analogy between L298 and L9110, L9110 can see that the does not have enable/disable pin.In other words is simply connected to the Arduino, in my case.External power supply must be used to avoid power problems.
Connect with an Arduino Mega (bought from DX) works very fine with 2 micromotors.
